Unbelievable night, fell down 2 rows of seats when big Jim bagged

 

Freezing cold night but was unbelievable when Hanson scored.

Immense night and my favourite away day as a city fan

 

what i'd do to have a manager, captain and squad which cared about Bradford City AFC.... Incredible bond the club had with its supporters then, shame Edin ruined it all the kangaroo.

surreal night that was and will forever be remembered by all those connected to the club.

 

Strange how everyone stood up that evening for the full 90? Thought it wasn't an option as the elderly and kids need to sit down so they get a better view? Must've been 18-60's only in the away end?

 

We sat in our section but to be honest we were like jack in the boxs with our great second half performance.

 

What a opeing atmosphere from Villa made me have chills,all those flags and noise when they came out of the tunnel.

 

One of the best if not the best. I was down in Birmingham with work that day so had an early start. Team and fans amasing.

 

What have poor old kangaroos done to deserve that comparison?

 

Done Norwich away in 76 and a lot more more highlights but Villa away was the best for me.

Yes you always think the last was the best only for Bradford City to top it.
As you say Norwich, Blackpool, all the Wembley apperances (even the Swansea game had pluses) Chelsea, Villa and even that Friday night at Darlington, all great memories.

 

Villa was the greatest City night for me, just watching the highlights again and after we score and the players celebrate by the touch line ,there appears to be a woman knitting. Very strange or are my eyes deceiving me.

Was on one of the club's official coaches that night. Calendar news came on the coach before we set off and interviewed my eldest and me and it was live on Calendar!!! My phone started buzzing like mad with text messages. Still haven't seen it to this day!!

 

Never felt as ill for the full 90 as I did that night. Anxiety and stress was through the ceiling. You do wonder why you put yourselves through it sometimes but the goal and final whistle is the answer.

 

Isn't knitting a stress buster.......certainly plenty of stress that night

 

1 st half wew got hammered but like Wigan away we had luck and kept on going. Then second half was amazing. Hence Broad street until 3am peeed up in my travelling back after the game work clothes.......

 

What a superb team they were
