If we somehow manage to win our remaining home fixtures we give ourselves a good chance of staying up.
If these games are so important to the future of the football club why is our Board doing nothing by way of promotion/marketing to get VP rocking as requested by our new football management team.
Ive said it before and I will say it again we have 10000 empty seats at each of our home games which require filling.
Every empty seat at every home match is a missed revenue opportunity in addition to being a promotional
benefit for the lapsed or discontented supporter.
    Where is promotional activity?
Why dont you all get a positive head on and come up with some creative plan to fill some empty seats.
Every day counts in the countdown to staying up.
GET A GRIP AND GET A MOVE ON!!!!!!!!!

The club have a £2M deficit and a separate debt aside to that.

Are you wanting tickets to be a quid again like the Oxford game? I think City would rather get 3k extra fans in at £20 than 10k extra for a quid.

The club needs every penny it has at the moment, hence the reason Drury/McElhone haven't been sacked.

I agree as a club we should be trying to get the floating fans back and as you say get the ground rocking, this is where IMO we should have someone to take the work load off Julian.
I'm sure he could work 24 hours a day and still not have enough hours in a day to get things done beause of the mess that he inherited.
I hear the arguements for and against but I honestly believe if getting upward of 18/19,000 in for every home game would give the players an extra incentive its a yes from me.

Do we really want thousands more witnessing this terrible football. It might put them off ever coming again.

If we keep giving away tickets people won't buy season tickets

But it would be extra revenue because they are fans who are obviously staying away at the monent.
The only way we are going to get your 3,000 figure paying £20 is the team showing much better form/football at Valley Parade and with there only being 5/6 home game left the floating fans maybe wouldn't return until there were only2/3 home games left, where as they might return for £5 per game.

People buy season tickets because of the price if we keep discounting then people will think twice. Price promotions are good once or twice a season

Well if having a few games a season is going to stop fans paying £150 because "the club might do it next season", suggests to me they are the fans who don't put their bums on seats at home games this season.

Didn't @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler tell @Fordy117@Fordy117 that he would be welcomed to help out at VP if he had a few spare hours!
"Get yer tickets here, £50 a pop. Pay pennies watch sh&te". Maybe too late for this season :)

This sort of job is very tough at the moment, check every post that goes onto the official Facebook or Twitter. It's ridiculed because that is the mood of 99% of fans at the minute, it's very hard to sell a product that ultimately ruins your weekend.

I don't think now is a good time to push marketing with the position we are in, it's impossible to generate the sort of buzz a successful marketing campaign should do. If it was me I'd be looking at letting the manager settle in and gearing up for a huge campaign towards the end of the season. I think at this moment in time the focus needs to be purely on football, my thoughts are we have left it too late but if everybody is geared up between now and the end of the season to try and be successful it gives us a better chance.

The deadline for STs need to be pushed out too, it's not particularly helpful with situation we're in. Appreciate we need to try and sort some sort of budget with the mess we're in but ultimately a budget is all well and good but if we lose 2000 STs that surely is bigger problem than not pushing the deadline out to try give our floating fans more time, the price is brilliant again so well done to the club for that I just feel the problem for people at the minute is wanting to dedicate most Saturdays to something that in it's current state is miserable, give people more time and hopefully the odd win will sway some back.

Where is that lass that took over from James Mason? Hardly heard a peep from her.

I could do it with ease.

Look, see the OP for example ..he's become cheap.. this is what happens when you go down the cheap road.. people just think they should always get it for cheap.

We could of increased costs but hey this people club tag sh&te is getting us far isn't it.

    People don't see the value.

Look, everything at Bradford City is to fu&king nice. @Ricc@Ricc warned us all about Edin and because everything is so nice it took a poster to warn us about Edin.. We've the press being nice, we've City fans being nice with their cheap as tickets. It's a joke! This club is in the sh@t believe you me! Wake up everyone- let not @Ricc@Ricc having to warn us again! We should know and get to the bottom of what's going on before it's too late!

Drop the people club charity shi&e.

Think she is player liaison, Laura? or so it says on her Twitter feed. She is a Bulls fan. We don’t really have a PR person, Julian is too busy sorting the mess out, plus it is not one of his skills. I would ask James if he could fit it in, he is equipped and the fans like him.

I think he’s talking about Paula Watson - not sure if she’s even still there.

No, we need fresh meat, fresh ideas.

What is it with City fans always wanting to go back?

Oh yes I remember, no haven’t seen anything of her lately, I wonder if she left. I think staff are being encouraged to talk to fans on Twitter, a couple have been on.

Ok, fair enough, so what ideas have you got to turn us into a prestige, high value club? Plus we do need to promote and encourage fans to come to games again?
