I'm asking if there's one missing and if the first one is a point as it seems to be a question rather than saying "he did this" it's "did he do that"

What I wanted more than anything was good football men in and around the club to help Hopkin. Now Rhodes is not the perfect man but he’s a start. He has had over a decade of dealing with managers and what they want and how they work.

He will listen to Hopkin but also be realistic with him. If he wants someone I’m sure Rhodes will put everything into getting him what he wants. He will try his best to make sure the board focus all budgets on the first team as he did each year when he was here.

Next step is see if he wants a backroom team and then look at transfers for January if there is no freebies left that are worth having.

I have stated before if they become like the venkys style at Blackburn and leave the football to footballing people and the results improve they can get it right here.

I just don’t think they will leave any time soon.

I recall a fairly recent article, I think from Parker, that Julian has always been available and that Edin has spoken to him several times... so I don't personally see the difference to now from what has been announced? Only that it has been announced, it depends on whether Edin takes a back seat or listens to Julian.

James was always available during his 'gardening leave' but confirmed he was never ever asked for anything. He also stated in his Parker interview about the Rochdale game that he felt his opinion didn't get taken into account towards the end of his role...hence he resigned...

League 2 fodder? You’re being too kind, unless the rot of the 2018 stops, it’s the conference.

 

Thing is though, the fate of a football club impacts on a city. Bradford as a city is in on its arse, all the investment goes East to Leeds, there are few skilled well paid jobs, Leeds and so on.

15-20,000 people in the centre once a week helps business, creates an impression of something other than a ghost town and so on. Think back to the PL days, people knew where Bradford was. These days it’s easier to say it’s near Leeds. It gives pride in the place, makes you proud to be from Bradford instead of explaining riots, a Katie Hopkins video and the latest episode of Traffic Cops.

I’m not for a second connecting Bradford’s terminal decline to City’s own, but a successful club is good for the place.

 

Well said, I agree. I dont think that is why most people are referring to the owners as parasites though. In reference to your point about bradford, i bet a lot of people from outside the city would call bradfordians parasites. I just think people need to tone down the sentiments and be more constructive.

 

It's a fair point. Was on North Parade after Rochdale game and seemed a hell of a lot quieter than when I was last there after a game.
