    It relies on the question of who was available at what price in Jan 2025 not when Cook and Wyke were available back in the day.

    GA said those might be available weren’t good enough or the prices quoted were outrageous .

    His comment , as a result was …”I won’t just buy anyone” , ( Just to satisfy armchair managers demands I imagine he meant? )

    Yes agree one was critical , but not if the criteria we all demand wouldn’t be met , otherwise it WOULD be “ Just buy anyone” ? Another Oliver perhaps I assume he means?
