We have just ten league games remaining in 2018, of which six are away.
Some are already certain we are a relegation team, in waiting.

    Oct 27 ....... Gillingham A
    Nov 03........Portsmouth H
    ........17........Peterborough A
    ........24........Oxford H
    ........27........Luton A
    Dec 08........Plymouth A
    ........15........Walsall H
    ........22........Scunthorpe H
    ........26........Sunderland A
    ........29........Rochdale A

So - With just TEN points on the board so far, from 15 games ....... What are YOUR expectations as we enter 2019 ?

    I'll start with 17.
    Over to you, folks.

If we don’t get another point and admin does kick in, we could actually be on zero.... imagine that.

What is the lowest points total ever in the EFL ?, perhaps Rahic could claim that record also .

Christ on a bike (sorry), I didn't even consider that. But surely not until Late March or so, eh ? And would Rupp allow administration ? It would probably tarnish his name.

I don't know for sure but Stockport finished bottom of league 1 2001/02 season with just 26 points. They did exactly the same in the 2004/05 season. To really rub it in they got just 25 points in league 1, 2009/10 season. To put it into some perspective bottom club usually finishes around the mid 30's give or take - very rough calculation.
Just think, we could be the new Stockport. On our current rate of games/points ratio we'll be very close to Stockport's low. Sorry Park/Banbotram but that really does tell us just how bad things are.
Of course even getting 50 points doesn't ensure safety. We are miles away.

6 is about right on our current form.

Unfortunately, we have to account for the excellent points average Collins managed to achieve, as well as the slump since Hopkin took over.

So I voted less than 16.

    OK

So the leading vote - by some distance is less than 16 points.
    Well here's a thing to consider .............
IF that becomes the case - Why on Earth would City invest in recruitment in January - Good money after bad !

Each and every season I 'run' a graph on % points gained and lost, game by game.
I draw a thick black line across the chart at 50%, which represents a season end of 69 points.
This format has served ME well for many years, in assessing where we are at any given period, and an overview.

Given that we only have 10 points from the first 15 games, that represents a 35 total points deficit - OR on MY chart, a 22% points gained, and a colossal 78% points lost !!
I don't keep past records anymore, but I can't remember such a run in about 25 years of running this. NOW - Bearing in mind we have some really tough fixtures in November, I fully expect to see that 22% drop even further. :(

Further ......... Should my OWN (optimistic) prediction of 17 points be reached ..............
That would still only represent 22.5% points gained.
Does anyone actually believe the joint chairman will 'back' a Club with a 58 point / 77.5% total deficit, with only 21 games remaining ?
My other prediction could also be correct ......... Relegation confirmed after the Easter fixtures !

Will Hopkin walk ? He may well do after Rochdale Away.

Our current pace would work out to 16.6 points after 25 matches, so I chose 16...not even optimistic enough anymore to round the number up!

There's just no way to make the numbers look good, is there? Not by your method, nor by mine. We need the type of turnaround enjoyed by the 1983/4 side, but the current players so far aren't showing either the ability or the character needed to do so.
