Same old same old, it's nowt to do with the 'music' it's still that everyone hates us, despite our generosity to the rest of Europe...

 

Ed Sheeran and and Adele are utter shite. We'd be last with them, and rightly so.

 

Still preferable to a musical event curated by Farage and Tommy Robinson...

 

Is it still being broadcast, jobs for the boys, if you could get the likes of Adele, Ed Sheeran or any of the people who sell millions of albums representing the UK we'd still finish near the bottom.
The presenters actually make fun of many other European countries not voting for the UK, so no real shock we didn't win it or get anywhere near winning.

 

Forced to laugh when Cyprus gave Greece 12 points.
And of course Greece then gave Cyprus 12 points, -- a fix, surely not.

 

Alternatively we could choose a song and artist that was not instantly forgettable, It deservedly came last in what was a good competition except for Maddona who sang out of key and often out of tune and sounded dreadful

 

I have a feeling that the funding we put in is not just for the Song Contest so we may get other benefits from it

 

I was forced to watch some of it last night and whilst it was nothing special the UK entry was superior to most. No point in entering there is more chance of city being champions of the premiership than winning this again

 

Someone has to finish last, really though, does it matter??? It’s not like we finish rock bottom every year. Anyway, them snubbing us, we’re only doing similar by leaving the EU. Lets go win the football nations league instead!

 

The Italian entry should have won on downloads etc but finished second, His song was downloaded / streamed over 40 million times on Spotify and his Youtube download was over 80 million and was a hit all round Europe before the competition, So using a star and a big hit song is no guarantee of success

 

Í think its a badge of honour to finish bottom were not in Europe so why the hell should we be bothered or even take part ? Is there an Americas or Atlantivision song contest we can enter instead ?
