Chris Long having a pen overturned for diving. Always loved VAR, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke!

We’re actually 8th favourites with Skybet at the moment. Chesterfield the early favourites.

Teams coming up do have a record of doing well the season after.

Pile on then because we won’t be those odds when the season kicks off.

    Absolutely fair play to Crawley.
I thought Crewe were really poor in the semi’s and the fashion in which they started celebrated beating Donny, you kind of felt they got lost in at all and it would only end in one way.

We’ve got to get our heads screwed on for next season. I just want us to be clinical and really hope it is the season we finally get out of this league.

They've lost the goalkeeper Lo-Tutala and it doesn't look like Hull will loan him back to them next season, he was seen as a big part of their run, in his time at the club they only lost 2 of the 20 games with him keeping 9 clean sheets in that time.
It will be tough for them to replace someone like him. If they can get Hakeeb Adelakun back after he was released by Lincoln that will be a big signing for them, if they don't that's another key player they will have to replace.

    22 66/1 Harrogate
    23= 100/1 Bromley
    No Odds Crewe

Some interesting early odds for next season.
Speaking to a MK fan, doesn't sound so confident for next year - thinks they are likely to lose a few players so will all depend on how they are replaced.
Salford - interested in what they do this summer. I'm not seeing them in the frame for next season at all. Could even be an outside chance of them going down
Chesterfield - could be a threat for sure but I don't see them on the level of Wrexham / Stockport / Notts County when they came up. Scored a ton but conceded a lot too and lost a few games. Can see them taking a while to adapt to the step back up.
Doncaster - likely to be a real threat but have a bit of work to do in the transfer market

I really think we could quietly do something next season. Will see what happens in the window across the league but it feels significantly weaker than this season.
We finished the season very strongly with a settled team and unlikely to lose any key players. Platt, Oyegoke and Wright are they only uncertainties but we could easily end up re-signing all 3 of them. Already strengthened with Sarcevic. Young and Pattison are effectively new signings.

A better pitch, better luck with injuries and a couple more quality signings...

Fair play to Crawley, Crewe were awful and it showed up the clear folly of playing a lone target man with minimal technical skill and poor mobility on or around the halfway line . Crewe’s big lad up front is a penalty area player nothing else . Contrast and compare to Crawley’s lad up top. Ball played to his feet, had pace, control and mobility in spades.

Liam Kelly won’t be there long either? Neither will Maguire’s brother.

    Well worthy winners !

Bromley FC are busy getting their ground ready for the forthcoming season. In particular:
    • Work has commenced on removing their 3G pitch (which will be re-used behind the stadium) and installing a new grass pitch; and
    • There will be some changes to the area allocated to visiting supporters: "The Club plan to locate away supporters in part of the existing away section on the East Terrace, as well as a section of the North Terrace. In line with EFL regulations, a minimum of 10% of the ground’s capacity must be made available to away supporters. In addition, this must contain a covered and seated area and plans are in place to introduce this into the away section during the course of the summer".[IMG]

There was an interesting comment made by Karl Robinson on Talksport last week, he said when he took over at Salford his only brief was to keep them in league two. Have they lost yheir mojo ?

Lee Gregory has gone to Mansfield and Patrick Madden to Chesterfield.

Don't think we need either, but good signings for those teams.

Sounds like Pete Wild has/is about to be given the boot at Barrow. I know their fall at the end was tragic, but it seemed like his style fit perfectly at that club.

Rumours are there was a fallout between him and the owner last week.
