The're in as big a mess as Crawley were last year.

Interesting to see Songo'o, Hiwula and Threlkeld all part of the exodus

 

At least two of those won't play league football again I wouldn't imagine and I wouldn't bet against all 3.

Harry Smith released by Sutton. One of the strikers of the season and we were linked a few times over the last year. Wouldn't be surprised to see us linked again.

 

Looks like Billy Bantam our chicken mascot has been released too

Agreed sooner or later we need to have a number nine who can replace Cook when his form dips.
Oliver won't be around he'll be playing elsewhere so at a guess we will bring in another centre forward before the season starts.

 

Salford are bringing in Cole Stockton. Theo Vassell looks like he will be moving on from Salford with Mansfield and Notts speaking to him after he has rejected Salfords contract offer.

Peterborough have signed Abraham Odoh from Harrogate for a 6 figure fee. Odoh was linked here this time last season after leaving Rochdale.

 

Didn’t he stir up a storm by saying the club were negotiating to pay off Alexander which turned out to be fake news by his own admission.

 

Only managed 16 games for them last season. No thanks.

Miguel Frecklton. 6'3. 20 Years of age. Left footed. Competition/replacement for Kelly? Either way. A young up-an-coming defender with a promising future. May be worth a gamble. Wouldn't be a massive change in location to go from Sheffield to Bradford

 

My personal opinion is when you play with a back 3/5, you need 6 CBs on the books. That way, in the event of injuries, we're not having to deploy players out of position. He may be a good understudy for Kelly, he may not. My guess is that Platt will be going. We have Stubbs an Bryne to cover the centre slot in a back 3 an kelly for the left side. Even if he isnt the player we need, we do need another player to cover that position in case of injuries

 

Surprised me that, if its the same guy who i saw play for Rochdale, a little fella, i thought he was bang average when we played them.

 

At Dale he had pace but little end product, worked wonders at Harrogate with 15 goal involvements this season. Got him for free, sold for 6 figures a year later, good for all involved.

 

I'll stick my neck and say this one turns out to be one that doesn't go beyond league one.
