We have a lot of attacking players. The test for Alexander is deciding which 7 or 8 he wants in the squad and which 3 to 5 he's going to pick to get us enough goals. We've been short of goals for a few years now (Cook aside). It's something that needs attention.

Parker for your information does the blog for the T&A from 1.30 from the press box. The T&A sent someone else over to cover the protest. Incidentally will be watching my Grandson at QCFC this morning.

Any rumours, whispers, ITK's out there??? Very quiet. Havent seen a single name linked with any credibility so far.

My wish-list is Dan Kemp and Charlie Wyke.

Think it's still a tad too early. Barely any business has been done yet in the league other than retained lists, reckon after the play offs are done we will see some movement. Players tend to have a holiday too don't they after the season? So still might be waiting a week or two for talks to even properly start.

Think Kemp will officially be released today or tomorrow. Saw a rumour that Notts County were looking at him and a Wrexham fan podcast said they heard the club were looking at Kemp if Elliot Lee goes, rumoured Champ interest in Lee.

They've already had the Vegas trip..... that would have been have the incentive for Vardy!

Saw the link last week and then Vardys wife talked it up too and the English bloke Wrexham have doing the board stuff when Hollywood aren't there to face stuff, he was on the radio and wouldn't rule it out. Well known at this point that Vardy and Leicester opened talks for a new 1 year deal in the prem, but if Wrexham offer him two years and it would still be good money, he might take it. Dunno what it means for Mullin? PPs Wrexham partnership has always been Mullin and a target man.

Surely even Wrexham wouldn't be offering anything approaching even half of Premiership wages?

Mullin ain't leaving this gravy train. Neither is Elliot Lee, you'd have to forcibly remove them kicking and screaming its that good a number for them. Can't see Vardy going there either unless his wages are subsidised by a fly on the wall documentary of his own, more than likely see out his career in the premiership with his beloved Leicester

No, but at this stage Vardy doesn't "need" the money and the package will be the swayer. He's 37, will be 38 in the middle of the season and cant play 90 in the champ anymore, he only managed it once the whole of last season. He only had 18 starts in the champ, Leicester made it known to him he would be a rotation option in the champ and those minutes will be even lower in the PL. It's believed it's a token 1 year offer on heavily reduced terms for one last PL season, but he'll barely play. After the relegation, the rumour is Vardy was on about £70k a week last season in the champ. If they have as believed offered reduced terms, let's say £40k for 1 year, that might be tempting.

Whereas Wrexham could offer him 2 years at lower money, but it would still be mega mega bucks for L1. Wrexham could easily offer £20k+ to a player in L1 these days with their revenue streams, it wouldn't be a problem. Not saying that would be the offer, but lets be real it would have to be something in that ball-park. But Sheff Weds had Bannon in L1 on £20k+, Derby had players earning £15k+ a week, Sunderland had Rodwell on £30k a week in L1, it's not alien money in the third tier anymore. The Wrexham show also interviewed players partners, which is where Vardys wife might come in. She wont have been talking it up in the press for no reason, she has her own media team, she knows if they sign onto Wrexham, him and her will be filmed often for TV and it could kickstart her TV career again.

But if the options came down to 1 last season at Leicester for £40k a week and being there as a figure more than a player, or go to Wrexham for 2 years on £15k-£20k a week, again with his age probably more a rotation player but certainly more used than he would be in the PL. Added part of a globally watched show, his wife could try get an in with Fx/Disney and the Wrexham offer them seems better for the "Vardy Brand" - aka life after football, for the family.

Not at all suggesting he'd leave, more would a partnership of Vardy/Mullin work? Given they are similar mould aggressive pressing forwards rather than the lump PP usually likes alongside.

Can only see Lee leaving if he gets a really good Champ offer. If Blackburn lose Szmodics and need a new 10/support forward? Someone like that maybe, but he'll be on more than £10k a week now at Wrexham after the promotion.

Maybe Leics will pay up is 1 year to him as a thank you loyalty bonus and release him ....then free to get two years a Hollywood Utd. Why would you not in the last throes of your career...Tons of goals in him too at that level

Could do but i'm pretty he sure he won't. His missus ain't the best when it comes to publicity, best keeping themselves out of the spotlight.

I'm leaning more towards him just having one more year at Leicester. But if Wrexham offer an appealing package then after football there's an avenue for the family to make money, that might be an option he seriously looks into. His wife went silent for a long time after the Rooney case, then in the last few months has started appearing again on things and now is doing interviews and talking about his career. Nailed on when he is retiring, she is pitching Vardy shows to any network she can and if they already have an "in" with somewhere, that could help. She will 1000% be trying to get on everything she can when he retires.

She is vulgar. A kiss and tell whore.

What she did to Peter Andre all those years ago was despicable. No wonder Vardys family want nothing to do with him or her. I think Jamie is a bit of a sewer rat tbh.
