Utter nonsense. They are not going because its not a piss up. Its training and they can't do it fully.

I am more interested to find out the full squad that went but once again Simon Parker can't do his bloody job.

Who cares. Not everyone is so left brain orientated that they need the minute details of everything or question it. If Parker says the whole squad apart from those two have gone, then most right minded people will accept it.

 

Why not go on Twitter and of course use your real name and tell him what you’ve just posted. He was covering Bradford Bulls yesterday as he now has to cover two clubs for the T&A when in the past the Bulls used to have a reporter just covering them. He will answer your constructive comments that he’s crap, lazy git and stealing a living. However I suspect you probably won’t challenge him to his face.

 

They can't train if they are injured. They can get treatment from the club back home.

 

I hardly think they haven't been invited! I'm sure they are gutted to be missing out but clearly a decision has been made by the club about what is best for them in terms of their recovery.

 

Got to love you Fordy first post asking for the thread to be locked then make 2 further comments .

 

For what it's worth, I happened to be at the airport last night at the same time as the players (between 4 and 5pm). They were all in their club tracksuits, looking and behaving professionally in the departure lounge (i.e drinking bottles of water and nothing stronger) representing the club really well.

You often see teams and individual Sports 'stars' behaving not so brilliantly on these kind of pre-season trips (including ourselves a few years back) so it was really encouraging to see how the squad's mentality was.

 

You just despise everyone to do with the club. In no particular order you deslike Parker, Rupp, Sparks, most of our signings. If it makes you feel better I’ll contact Leeds Bradford airport and get them to send the passenger manifest for last nights flight as it’s clearly important to you.

 

What aspect of your being will be severely affected if you dont find out who is in Spain or are you just being Fordy again?

You and I have no rhyme nor reason to know who got on a plane or not.

This has to be the definition of a 'dry' sense of humour. Please tell us you're not serious.

Even the most uneducated knows full well that plane flights have some effect on blood circulation etc and so is likely to hinder and healing process.

Never mind getting on and off a plane, standing around in airports etc - none of which would be as good for an injury as been back at the club.

You are a strange person,you’d find a negative in anything. Simon Parker has stated that the squad has travelled with the exception of Hendrie and Ridehalgh. Do you want me to now list the entire City squad with the exception of those two?

 

Can't see that happening under Hughes, but for all the negative press it got, that team went on to take us to Wembley.

 

Was the pre-season after Wembley. The team took us to 11th in L1. Though we'd give our right arm to be there now.

 

The two players are at home due to injuries. We have a medical team now something we have wanted for a long time. If they have said it is detrimental for injured players to fly, then that is it. We don’t buy a dog and bark ourselves.

MH will be disappointed they cannot go, but that is how it is.
