1984 - What have we become?

The part of fans being filmed I am led to believe alot of clubs now have stewards with cameras so don't think this anything new(might be at city) but not elsewhere so i wouldnt be worried about I, however I would be if it was done secretly but the camera is clearly visible.

 

I think you're right Ricky. Fans have been filmed for years in one way or another to enforce rules and laws on inappropriate chants etc.

Load of paranoid nonsense

 

Recent history; for a few years we were entrenched in the lowest division and at one point looked to be falling out of that. Our saviour was then appointed and thanks to the hard work of him, our 2 not super wealthy owners and others, we managed to progress every year for 5 years with some incredible memories in the journey.
We then got minted owners who promised us the premier league but their vision frightened off the guy who had saved us. Never mind, they appointed a local hero who continued the progression with some of the most entertaining football we had seen for years and we even went back to Wembley. Before the next season started however, rumours started to surface that all was not what it should be within our club. Surely our manager would show the complete respect that our owners superior football knowledge should merit. It couldn't be true that our owners had had such a big bust up that for 2 months, they were not on speaking terms. Whatever, the team continued to thrive for the rest of the year until they suddenly decided to stop playing. Losses abounded and the chance to play Man U at home tossed away. The manager as always shouldered the blame and we got a better one, only results didn't actually improve. The season ended on a low and our manager decided he would rather be unemployed than work for us. Never mind, loads of top candidates wanted to come but unfortunately none did, so a young untried guy was given the job of being our owner's mouthpiece. ST sales tumbled and the new season quickly became a disaster. Never mind, we already had someone else hanging out to dry. His successor is now at his wits end trying to sort out a team from those signed up for him.
The situation is now so serious, some of us older ones are comparing it to Avenue of 52 years ago. Our situation is so perilous that in a couple of years we might not have a club and one or 2 who post on here will still not see a common denominator and be wondering why.

He has said we can meet at Linfield Mount, ward 5 anytime and he will show us all the evidence we need.

 

As at least half the stewards at WHU home games have body cameras, perhaps I could get a deal on my image rights
