    Yep. Very skillful, didn't make make the most of his talent but I enjoyed watching him.

    Having read through other posts, Darren Moore is another player I loved watching.

    Nicky Summerbee was quality for us. Have we had a better crosser of the ball in the last forty years?

    I did but I was going on importance as much as anything, that got us through the League Cup second round where as the others were all vital to our success.

    But it was certainly a very satisfying goal!

    Can't believe it took so long for Andy O'Brien to get a mention.

    And what about the legendary John Dreyer. Without his goal at Sunderland we wouldn't have stayed in the Premiership for a second season (okay, in hindsight that might not have been such a good thing)

    Seeing as it's personal favourites, for whatever reasons, and not just the "best" in terms of abilities etc., I went for a pair of obvious selections: Stuart and Bobby, a pair of solid pros who did a very good job for us over many years: Dave Evans and Gavin Oliver, and one from the recent past: James Hanson.

    To expand that to ten as posters have been doing in this thread, I'd add Ces Podd, Paul Tomlinson, Brian Mitchell, Jamie Lawrence, and John Hendrie.
