Fair play really. Bad appointment, made worse by the fact we spent so long looking for a manager and then gave it to someone internally.

The board have realised their mistake, the squad isn't that bad although we look light in centre midfield we should still be better than most the teams in League 1.

Get a proper manager in, so the players can be coached into a system and understand how to defend and remember how to pass and we should be okay.

 

Not sure I'm excited about a successor being announced so quick.

1) Edin - I know football so may as well do it myself
2) Drury - I got it right just chose the wrong youth coach
3) Abbo - Greg is a good bloke, tows the line
4) Grayson - Ok my championship pedigree hasn’t landed me a job, bored now, Also Edin says I can name the subs (not the team tho) so good compromise

Didn't Edin make some statement after the appointment that it was a long term thing and that even if we lost the first ten games he wouldn't be looking at sacking Collins off.....

It's gotta be someone who wasn't available in pre season if its not Abbott, it's gotta be Gary bowyer or knowing City doing it cheap, Kevin Nolan has just been sacked

 

I kind of feel sorry for him but kind of don't. It is a complete screw up but is, at least, hopefully a step in the right direction. I honestly hope it isn't Abbot, but it begs the question, if not, who would take the job and under what assurances of hands off from above.
