They are not wrong decisions in his mind
He has a plan and is sticking to it whether it works or not is another matter

I would say I've been in the give them a chance camp for a good long while but I've voted no they haven't delivered simple as that.

No real youth has been developed and we've regressed in terms of performances on the pitch. As a club you wouldn't believe that a couple of years ago it was a joy to be a Bradford supporter.

At the time I could understand sacking McCall he couldn't get us going again which at the end of the day was his job but looking back and with the info we now have it's clear he wasn't treat well. I hate reading negative stuff about Abbo the guy loves this club and works his balls off maybe he's staying to try and keep a Handle on things rather than just leaving us with Edin.

The real turning point for me was when Mason jacked it in this was his dream job. He made mistakes early on but I really warmed to him seems a nice bloke. Why the hell would he just decide to pack in if things were ok within the club.

I don't wish to be unkind to Collins and Drury but their appointments are farcical and scream that no one else would take the job. They are out of their depth it will end badly.

All the ingredients were there for them to make a success of the club when they bought. Good manager, good/happy fan base and alot a of people wanting to be involved with the club. Literally all they had to do we back parky with a bit more cash and I'm certain we would be in the championship now how they managed to mess it up is beyond me.

Grayson wanted full control of team affairs, he wanted to be manager. Rahic wanted to have a say, he wanted a coach, not a manager. Grayson wasn't prepared to not be in control so he decided he'd rather be out of work than take the role, that last bit says a lot to me.

    Good Post
Until we get a proven manager to grab this club by the balls and stand up to those with lesser knowledge we are going to struggle How long this downward spiral will last and how low it will talke us in the leagues is yet to be seen
At the moment the fans are powerless to do anything about it and just have to watch this great club of ours slowly going down the pan

Not just that. After our Shrewsbury game last season, which sky covered, Grayson was overheard telling David Prutton he wouldn’t be staying and referred to us as a ‘broken club’.

A man, who knows a man, who knows me.

Seriously though, I’ve heard it from several people.

And I’ve certainly heard the same phrase from someone else very closely connected to the club.

    Question
Why is Rupp getting off light?
Edin the ego has attracted all the criticism and rightly in IMO. However he is the junior partner in this. The only person who exercised control over Edin is Stefan Rupp.
Rupp is a very wealthy clever man. I don’t believe that he can not see the issues that have been created.
He is therefore 100% compliant and culpable.
Or he is easily persuaded that all is well or the plan is on track.
City fans should find a way of directing their displeasure at the organ grinder. Not the monkey.

    Not a bad shout.

I think Rupp is getting off lightly because he’s done what most good owners do - put some money in and say back - which isn’t to say he’s bankrolling is.

Rahic on the other hand is actively ruining us. But, he’s empowered by Rupp, so the next point of focus has to be Rupp.

Rupp is watching from a distance and taking his brief from Rahic. He’ll only be compelled to act, to protect his investment, when our shit show becomes such a mess it’s visbily clear from 1500 miles away, and Rahic can no longer hide it.

I think the problem is that Rupp isn't really that interested in football and has been taken in by a man who has convinced him that he is the font of all knowledge when it comes to kicking a ball about. We can only hope that the reality of the situation is starting to hit home and Rupp will do something about it sooner rather than later.

Disagree. Rupp said at the start that he knows little about football and would leave the day to day running of the club to Rahic, who claims he knows everything about football. Yes, Rupp should shoulder some of the blame but the man who is ruining this club is Edin Rahic. Think about it this way, I seriously think that if you removed Rahic from the equation (keeping Rupp) then many of the clubs problems would be solved. If it was the other way around and you removed Rupp from the equation and were left with Rahic, we'd still be in the exact same situation.

They have pretty much made themselves impossible to back with the appointment of Collins.

I don't really care about all the off field stuff. Who washes the kit, serves the pies and played the music is pretty irrelevant to me. Lawn was abrasive and got on people's tits but if you have a strong manager who can keep these distractions away from the players then you can still get results.

Appointing a manager who was weak in every single respect was just a massive red flag.

I don't like the plan, I don't think they implement it very well, I don't like their choices of manager and every decision they make seems to take us backwards from where they began. What is to like?

I feel a tiny bit sorry for them though. They had pretty much watched us during a golden era where it was all scarf parades, giant killing, progress and Wembley appearances without a penny being spent by the owners. I can see why they looked at us and thought "We can do that". Unfortunately they didn't realise that all of that pretty much flowed through one man. Their first, and biggest, mistake was not seeing that and it's just been a swim against the tide ever since.

Yep! One or two things going wrong I can accept as mistakes bet when only one or two things go right among dozens that go wrong then there’s a problem.

Why is Rupp getting off light?
Because he's never around to face the music that's why

I know it,s not easy to do,but we MUST,MUST,MUST -FORCE this regime out of OUR club!!!!!.Just boycott matches (you,re not missing much anyway,by not going!!),and you won,t be embarrassed and ashamed of the team as I was at the Wycombe game.-They will NOT survive a mass boycott, believe me-may take a while, but they will HAVE to go,or lose a whole load of money--and reputation!!!

In a business sense it was probably the worst time to take over us. We had reached the summit as far as the organisation could go with no real investment in players or infrastructure. And although we got one game away to the championship under the first year of their tenure that was more because of Stuart McCall and the way he moulded a tight knit squad that played for each other. They might have thought that when they were taking over us that we were a sleeping giant in league one, truth is we had the best period of sustained success in terms of finishing higher in the table under Phil Parkinson. Although maligned at times, Parky knew this club inside out and understood what we were and what our limitations were.

We aren't there yet but if not very careful we could be back where we were pre Parkinson, it only takes one bad season to undo all the good that Parky did. My fear is the owners still don't understand what Bradford City are. The warning signs are there, whether they decide to act on these is their detriment as owners and us as supporters.

Just to confirm that I will not disclose who voted which way. Even if you do not agree with those who voted Yes, they have a right to their opinion and privacy. It would undermine any future Poll if this were to occur. I guess the content of Posts indicate which way people chose to vote.

I am very pleased at the massive number who have actually taken the time to vote and encourage everyone to take one of the three choices.

Since they took over I really wanted them to succeed and have defended them to some extent (apart from McCall sacking). I was excited with the signings we brought in and even thought a young coach might not be so bad after witnessing an experienced one in Grayson perform so badly.
But the last home game really swung it for me. I want them out as I can only see us going one way. I’m not going today or Blackpool which were always definates for me and looking at the ticket sales it looks like a lot of others are the same.
They either need to get a proper manager in and leave him to do his job completely or sell the club to people that care.
