Of course it is. Birky Bantam clearly refers to Birkenshaw and interestingly Joe Calvey's twitter has suddenly gone protected shortly after my post. Strange that.

He used the words IPTV on the #BCAFC hashtag repeatedly and they swarmed in.

Above budgeted expenditure on the pitch, the start of Stephan's increased investment i hope.

Today's T&A article implying Rupp has paid into getting the pitch fixed. Add in Sharpe's salary and that suggests any additional investment is going into non-playing matters.

Many fans complain that the clubs non playing side is mickey mouse.
He could also be bumping up the playing budget for all we know.

He could also live on the the moon and sustain himself purely on eating the cheese it's made from.

I suppose it depends how gullible you are.

We are only a good month or so in since his letter and have already seen David Sharpe brought in and now increased spending on the playing surface.
It is a start. Lets see where we are come August.
Rome was not built in a day.
    PS i like cheese.

The article says the EFL got in touch with the club about the pitch in March. Obviously we don't know the details of those conversations but the cynic in me says if that hadn't happened, this extra work wouldn't be taking place. Also, it p!sses me off that Ryan is going on about how grateful he is that Rupp agreed to fund the additional costs. He owns the club ffs!!!! It's his responsibility to do these things and the expectation should be that he's doing it without Sparks having to go to him with the begging bowl out.

As fans all we ask for is communication and a bit of transparency, something which has been SEVERELY lacking under Sparks. Without this, it just leads to mass speculation

The hierarchy only have themselves to blame for any criticism that is thrown at them. Equally, if they ran the business as it should have been run, they would have happily lapped up all the pats on the back. Can't just have it one way i'm afraid

Rhodes and Lawn used to own the club but they bodged the pitch maintenance year after year.

It is funny how we all read things differently. I am wondering if Rupp is selling the club with the comment about ‘grateful Stefan financially supporting the pitch renovations, as it is an investment for years to come” not sure of the exact quote, but I suppose if he is in the process of selling he could have just done the minimum.

I agree that Rome wasn't built in a day. However, Rupp has owned us for 8 years so the analogy is simply nonsense.

The pitch has to be replaced, I'm not sure what other course of action he'd have been able to take, promise or no promise.

As for Sharpe, if he'd have replaced Sparks then fine, a positive step. As it is we're now paying two people to do the job that Sharpe did on his own at his previous club which operated at the same level as us. See if you can make that make sense.

Can't see him selling up anytime soon I think we are a challenge to him to get as much money back as he can without much further investment, remember the T&A only print what Sparks lets them print
Grateful for him maintaining his investment is a good example
It's his "train set" he needs to look after it or move on in every other business its normal
Is the Sainsbury's CEO grateful when they do a shop refurb no thought not !!
Do they expect customers to have whip round and pay for it again no thought not
    What's the difference
Some on here need to get real and stop praising Rupp for doing what is after all what he should be doing
