    I doubt very much if Walker signs we will get anything other than a Smallwood back up for our midfield. I'd say 80% of our signings will be defenders/ wing backs

    Gregory supposedly on his way to Mansfield. It was well-known in Jan that they were in talks and wanted the move, but Mansfield weren't willing to budge on money and Sheff weren't willing to pay him off.

    Let's hope we don't sign any more aging strikers.

    Last thing we need is Steve Claridge-Dean Windass II.

    Set piece specialist and a goalscoring midfielder would be a good start.

    Not comparing him to McDonald who I would move on. We need better than Croasdale who is being bigger up because he's a hero at Stockport and nothing more.

    Gary Jones did fook all outside of Rochdale, a real L2 plodder, so dont understand your point. Anyway, its someone to challenge/fill in for Smallwood, not replace. Thats the reality whether you love or loathe Smallwood - he is here to stay and we have a budget to consider. Defence needs work, and we need 2 CMs.


    Croasdale was their captain for most of this season.

    Out of quite a comprehensive list upto now of the released lists from a few clubs my preference to solve midfield issues with the likes of Dan Kemp (CM) if he is available, George McEachran (CM) and Luke Young (CM) with possibility of the ex Norwich city winger Josh Martin (LW) also released.
    I agree with the callum Johnson (RB) name being bandied around due to the Boro and Mansfield connection
