Well I heard different, McCall wanted to keep him on loan as he'd played in several positions that season and as you say we were there abouts, David Baldwin got involved as at that time he was the Burnley CEO and Hendrie was a Burnley player and actually offered Rahic a better deal than the previous 6 months, even saying he'd waiver the next 6 months but if City got into the play offs Burnley wanted £5K.
I believe Hendrie had travelled down with the rest of the squad as he and McCall believed he would be available and why wouldn't he McCall was the manager he thought Rahic would sign another 6 month loan deal.
When Hendrie found out he was not being kept on the lad was obviously devastated after all Bradford City were his club, once players found out what Rahic had done but more he way Rahic gone about it, they more or less down tools that day, Charlie Wyke stating he would not sign another contract offered by Bradford City because of Rahic, John Hendrie saying he would never set foot in Valley Parade as long as Rahic was there.
The deal was all about another 6 month extension and the way Hendrie was treated by the Rahic, unfortunately your information incorrect.

Rahic didnt agree the deal because he didnt think Hendrie was worth it. He was correct on that one.

By all means, because he is a Bradford lad, with the surname Hendrie, believe he was better than he was.

    Clue: his career since.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, at the time of his loan he was getting games at different positions McCall wanted to keep him, but Rahic over ruled the deal, just one of his meddling's as the co owner.

Do you believe if we hadn't got £250K for Hanson Rahic would have brought Charlie to Bradford City, I very much doubt it so no accolades from me, the man was a clown.

I could be wrong, but the teams that release the fewest players (not including the ones falling out of the league), maybe the ones that do ok the following season. Minor tweaks rather than wholesale changes seem to fair best, or is that my misconception?

Keeping a core and adding bits of quality worked for Mansfield and Stockport.

Fairly certain before last summers window, Spark said to the T&A that we were only looking to add a few players of quality.... then signed off on 11 new signings, a few promotions from the youth team and a system change. Didn't we have about 30 pros at training by the end of the summer window? Mental period.

And yet still managed more games than Walker. Be worth a punt imo if his wages were cheap enough for L2

What are you on about? Evans has played 6 league games this season, 4 for pompey, 2 for Ipswich. Your maths is shocking if you thinks that's more than Walker's 30 league games.

All I ask for is quality over quantity. Sick to death of signing 3 average joes for a position when we could get 1 of real quality and an ample back up for the same price.

Oduor, Smith, Tulloch, Afoka and Wilson were brought in to help our forward options. We could have signed two there of proper quality and still had enough.

    Unforgivable looking back.

Regardless of the debate about Hendrie’s ability as a player, that incident was the catalyst for the complete implosion of our club, and we are still recovering 6 years later.

I can accept that it caused a rift in the dressing room but Rahic left in December 2018. He absolutely can't be blamed for the entire period of failure since, that's just offering excuses for those that were truly at fault.

I don't disagree. But Rahic nothing to do with the last few years - he left 6 years ago.
