What's the betting it will still be chaos as we approach the first home match of next season ... ?

 

It will be chaos, however it will be a smaller version of chaos based on the fact only half of people appear to have renewed.

 

Usually the most renewals come before the save your seat deadline as most of our fans are extremely anal about "their seat"

 

It is a massive difference! Should imagine there will be some still undecided and not too bothered where they sit, but that really is some amount of seats to choose from. There needs to be another couple of really good rabbits out of the hat before deadline day, otherwise Rupp is going to have to dig deep just to keep the electricity on.

 

5k renewed by looks of it, doubt we will be at five figures for next season, totally unsurprising. RESIGN SPARKS!!

Haven't read the full thread but where has the marketing gone for seasons tickets? The club to their credit has put out some brilliant season ticket campaigns over the years and if ever there was a need to try create buy in, this year was given the feeling around fan base, not everyone is sold by good marketing but it's real chance to hit people in the feelings and some of the videos in the past did that. Poor doo by all accounts which is synonymous with the way the football side has been over the past few years.

 

Have people been able to swap online ok?

 

What can you say though? Its been awful and fans want the owner and CEO out!

Sharpe’s appointment was a positive move recently, but its hard to market a shite product after a wretched effort on the field!

Quite understandably, anything the club say or do right now is derided.

 

We won't drop that low. It will still be in five figures but i estimate around a 15/20% drop which is still a massive failure in a business sense. Make no mistake Rupp and Sparks have ballsed up big time, to allow the shitshow to get this far down the road shows a complete lack of professionalism and ability. I've bitten for next season but if i don't see progression by the end of next year i'll find something else to do with my time. Both Rupp and Sparks are in the last chance saloon, anyone who backs them after that if we at least don't hit the playoffs is a raving idiot.

Look at some of the videos we had attached to campaigns, they were quality. I agree with your sentiment but there are people who don't frequent boards like this and a targeted campaign could sway the decision.

Not even just a playoff finish Rog, we need to go up! No excuses next year.

Teams coming down from L1 are gonna be moderate. Chesterfield will no doubt be favs but we need to be aiming for the top three minimum for me.

some fans say we need x number of windows to make the necessary progress but I dont buy that. We appointed Sharpe at a good time to assess deadwood. We need to hit the ground running with our recruitment and crack on.

hopefully sparks take a backseat too.

 

Yeah its about time we actually laid down a marker of what this club should be aiming for.

We have employees in the following roles in the club, (taken from the who's who) so how can not having any form of marketing campaign for season tickets (probably the biggest/most important source of income for the club) be justified?
