    It’s a shame really, you’d have thought in this day & age there would be a mutual venue we could play at. Make them some money, and tick off the fixture for us and barrow, everyone’s happy

    The weather in this country is simply only going to get wetter.
    It’s unlikely that the game will ever move to a summer sport but maybe it’s time to allow the bottom 2 leagues to have 4G pitches.

    If Walsall, Crewe and Crawley win tonight Barrow might start getting a bit jittery and it might improve our chances of beating them - if the game ever goes ahead.

    This is something that needs consideration.
    With climate change the weather is only going one way, warmer and wetter.
    Unless the premier boys want to fund grass pitch upgrades for league 1 and 2 clubs, Good drainage, undersoil heating grow lamps, say £3 million per club x 48 £144 million or Halands wages over his Man city contract, is another way of looking at it.

    Yes but the ball would not bounce in that 64 square feet, where as now it does not bounce in the whole 60000 sq ft pitch.

    Tin pot Barrow , with their non league pitch.
    We should be awarded the points and the 3 they stole at VP.
    Can we make the playoffs with that .

    I never place too much reliance on long range weather forecasts. However, the current forecast for Barrow-in-Furness is for it to rain pretty much every day for the next two weeks. It might be an idea to have an alternative venue on standby, just in case.

    Cardiff City stadium anybody?

    Just have it at Old Trafford. The Barrow players train in Manchester anyway so will be like a home game for them.

    I would think either Salford or Gigg Lane would be a far better shout. Apparently their average attendance is 3,681 so they would be totally lost in Old Trafford.
