    Far too logical!

It reeks of transferring blame onto the Supporters, the Club needs to stop being in Denial and accept responsibility.

In addition to the timing, only releasing this on Twitter/X rather than a release across all the Club media facilities, questions the level of competence. Not everyone goes on Twitter/X.

The failure to send a generic E.mail to all Season Ticket holders, which costs are only in creating the communication (and even then could copy and paste most of that on X/Twitter) would take less than half an hour in time.

I only said in my reply that people who went on the wrong website and left it to the last minute should take some responsibility as well.

Having a deadline at a time where there is no support available is a bad idea, doubly so when you have just introduced a system your customers will be using for the first time.

It is only natural that people wait until close to deadlines, especially when it comes to parting with money.

Lack of / Poor communications and a Supporter Liaison Officer who doesn't reply to supporters.

In all fairness I’d imagine quite a few (myself included) were totally disillusioned with how the club is being run. The appointment of Sharpe last week has gone a little way to allaying the concerns about the future trajectory of the club. Many supporters would then have made the decision to renew, some on that day, but many reluctantly (as myself) as the deadline loomed. Yes, it was last minute but as previously mentioned, why have deadline on a non working day when there was no one to answer queries. I had to drive 90 minutes to the ticket office yesterday after failing to get through. There were 5 people in the queue and 2 behind the counter. Even those behind the counter blamed the system and criticised ticketmaster for not allowing them to test the system before it went live.

I totally agree that it didn't make sense to not have the ticket office open in at least 1 of physically open, emails monitored or phone lines monitored.
I think the line they are using about blaming Ticketmaster is an easy one and a customer pleaser, the club will determine when the system is launched not Ticketmaster, there is no reason whatsoever for Ticketmaster to say we can't do a test in the background. I've mentioned this earlier in this thread and others that Ticketmaster are growing rapidly within football and if they had a poor system they wouldn't be doing that. It's not in their interest to rush out a system as it will look badly on them and when they are looking at signing up other clubs this would count massively against them.

I think the club needs to think of itself as a business with customers who they are reliant on for future business. That might focus minds on making the purchase of tickets as easy as possible. Why didn’t they have the deadline on a week day? Why has the new system not been fully checked for errors like the T&C’s? Why haven’t customers received a full notification of the DD and a schedule of payments? The list is endless; it all leads me to think of lack of care for the fans and an arrogant attitude towards the fans. Yes fans could have done it earlier but I think lots of them have left it late because they are undecided as to whether to bother at all. This fiasco should be a learning exercise for the club but I doubt it even this morning announcement at 9 is a take it or leave it attitude!

Perhaps there are many like me . I got an e-mail from The Gaffer thanking me for renewing despite the fact I've never had a season ticket and will not be buying one.

Do they expect anyone to believe this?

Our "Director of Supporter Services" really needs to go.

The problem is Rod, I don't think they are very good with generic emails either if the one sent last week thanking fans for renewing that hadn't actually renewed is anything to go by!

In all the years of following Bradford City I've never known a more frustrating, confusing and absolutely tiny pot season ticket campaign.
I am certainly very sceptical about the current sales figure of 10,000 doing the rounds.
Nothing official of course because the club haven't got a clue either at this moment in time deadlines and exclusive periods galore, don't no if I'm coming or going with it all.

I cannot see the logic of the 'early bird' system, certainly not this year anyway.
With such a poor take up for the forthcoming season, presumably, I fancy we will see an announcement that the proposed £100 increase after April 27th will be dropped.
We shall see, it's probably too logical.
