What’s the offering in the Bantams Bar? Is there food and a good selection of beers and clean toilets?

City have just put out another bit of info......"Those with technical issues have until 5PM TODAY to contact the Valley Parade Ticket Office and renew, to guarantee this season's seat."

So don' expect any official numbers until tomorrow at the earliest if they are giving people one last day today to sign up.

I love the term the club uses, ‘Those with technical issues have until 5PM TODAY to contact the Valley Parade Ticket Office and renew, to guarantee this season's seat’.

The ‘technical issues’, in the main, seem to arise from the system that the club has introduced, which is far from perfect.

Abdicating responsibility and by inference suggesting it is the Supporters, is rather sad.

What if people have work, family issues and/or have problems ‘contacting’ the Ticket Office. Is a timed e.Mail before 5.00 pm satisfactory. Several of us have spent well over an hour on the phone. I would anticipate the demand will mean some won’t get through.

And they put it out at 9am, when most people will have already started work and likely wont have social media available to see the new statements.

In their mind it's giving people who might have regretted not renewing by Sunday one last chance to sign up again and say its 'technical issues'.... but you know, it would help to tell people this is happening? Maybe at 5/6pm yesterday you tell fans there is one last window? The brainless PR that comes out of City lately really is mindboggling.

Or their calls drop off after 90 minutes (lasting longer than team in all fairness)….

'Technical issues'? Is that a euphemism for 'inability of club to cope with badly introduced new ticketing system'?

Where was this announced? Is it on X and FB? I've just had a look on the club website but there's no mention of it there.

The fans aren't blameless in this, from the comments on Facebook most of those with issues seem to be those that tried to renew late on Sunday evening so why leave it to the last minute on a system that you've never used before. The club have got some bits wrong but if people have left it to the last minute then they have to accept they are at fault as well for leaving it so late. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them people hadn't activated their account despite the club telling them to do it a while and when they tried to do that late on Sunday night they found an issue or they didn't know how to use the same site. I saw 1 person who's "technical issue" was that they went on the old site then when that was pointed out to them they tried to blame the club for not telling them.

Take the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th letters of the poster's name in order and you have a bit of a clue! ;)

Totally agree. It should be released on the Club Website at the same time as Twitter, or is this another Technical Problem which is the responsibility of the Supporters?

The thing is, it would have been so easy to do it right. An acknowledgement of there being issues for some fans trying to renew due to the introduction of a new ticketing system and an apology for the frustration this has caused is all it would require.

Are you saying that someone who leaves it to the last minute or goes on the wrong website doesn't at least hold some of the blame for having issues?
I've said in that post and others that the club have got parts of this wrong like the lack of step by step guide and not having the ticket office open on Sunday. There's lots you can criticise the club for but it seems like some people want to blame them for everything even when it is their own fault like going on the wrong website.

Sums up a lot over the last few years. We could do it right... ah let's do this half arsed approach instead.

This reminds of the time at college a lad in our class stood up and said to the tutor 'you really hate me don't you?'
    The tutor asked why?
'cos everything I do you mark wrong'
To which he replied 'thats because it is wrong, I can't mark it right if it's wrong can I?'
    Actually a true story.

There's a pattern in your general posting that anyone who goes against the grain of the club is somehow wrong. I've noticed it for a while but never said anything.
