Jordan, FWIW when I went down last week one of the blokes did say I’d be able to swap online. He changed settings for the others in my group so I could edit their tickets.

i just didn’t bother looking last week as everything was greyed out on the seating plan and i wanted to wait for non renewed seats to be released before moving.

……we’ll have to wait until Wednesday I guess. Fingers crossed it works as I cba trekking down in person and skipping work!

this is the piece -> 2024/25 SEASON TICKETS: SEAT SWAP UPDATE | News | Bradford City (bradfordcityafc.com)

In short, Wednesday at midday for lower kop seat swaps. Thursday midday seat swaps open to all. I cant be bothered going down to city again to try swap so will call and sit in the queue for a bit before driving down if I'm getting nowhere.

The thing is though nobody knows what seats might be available until somebody actually swaps and they can only swap into an already empty seats. It may be that the seat they want would be available but whoever has that seat is waiting to move. It might even be that they're waiting on each others seats to free up but that can never happen under the system in place. Probably a bit easier this year if sales are down, mind.

If they didnt renew before midnight last night their seat is now released and won’t be greyed out in the system. Anyone can take it.

those fans who didnt renew dont have any entitlement to keep seat now, unless nobody else picks it before them, in which case they’ll be able to pick same seat when system opens back up for sales.

It was said in the original article about it and again in the update middle of last week plus there was an email sent out with. There were also notices at half time on the scoreboard. Not sure what else the club could've done.

I hope they’ve accounted for the increase of stewards to stop the excitable running onto the pitch when we score.

Yeah the comms were pretty clear to be honest, not opening yesterday was a major one goal though

Agree. But more importantly what intent are they going to show for next season. DOF is a positive step but what’s following? Or is the remit to stay alive for another season?

We’ve not renewed. So we’ve lost our seats along with some others. Mine the first time since the kids were born.

What commitment is the club going to make? Other than we will put 11 bodies out 46 times next season? Or is the club happy to watch Morecambe run rings round us again next season.

Sales will be down from the final total from this season as the early bird deal isn't for another couple of weeks and so if someone is 100% they want to move then there was no rush for them to renew their seat before yesterday's deadline. I'd imagine most of the North West Corner group haven't renewed yet as there were very few seats available in Block B so they'll just wait for the seats not renewed and the ones who move on Wednesday to be made available before getting their season ticket. I know there are a couple of people near me that want to move to that section so they've just left their renewal for now.
The real time to compare will be when we get to the end of this month and the early bird deadline has expired, last season we were at 14,645 at the deadline.

I did find that strange, appreciate it's not ideal for the ticket office staff to work a Sunday after a matchday but with sales being suspended for the next 2 days they could give them extra days off in exchange as I doubt they are going to be very busy today and tomorrow with away tickets.

Scoreboard? Cant see that from the teabar queue or urinals so any messages put up on that are lost on me!

adding such details to the social media posts might help though - there was no mention of sales being suspended in the Facebook post yesterday. If it was added to earlier messages, fair enough.

The Bradford City Supporter Services twitter account has just reposted the club's tweet from yesterday saying there were 4 hours left before the seat renewal deadline. What a useful post.

Given the radio silence on issues with the new system I can only assume this bloke is taking the piss out of his customers.

Edit - they actually reposted that after they had reposted the club's tweet that sales were now suspended. Genius.

The scoreboard is just another way of letting people know. There's no method that will reach every single person but they have covered at least 4 methods with email, website, social media and the scoreboard.

Off topic I know but the scoreboard is a pain in the arse. It needs to stop being used for advertising during a game.

It's quite distracting to the eye when it's flickering around from colour to colour when you are watching something in play down that end.

    Even worse during night games

To back @borderlescott@borderlescott up I renewed late last night and the first I saw of it was when I clicked on to do it. To be fair the process was easy as it could be but they could have been clearer with the time changes.

Feel some sympathy for those in the premiership sat opposite the now doubled up digital advertising boards or the viewer at home, it's ridiculous the size of the display at places like the Etihad. Used to bug me before but now I irrationally hate them every time I see them

Ah, but underneath those adverts are the subliminal messages: "clap harder", "buy season tickets" etc. etc.

Waited on the phone 1hr 45. Caller number 1 and it rang off. Not the first time this happened. Same happened last year. We really know how to cheese the fanbase off.
