No cup winnings in 21/22 yearly numbers but will be in this years 23/24.?

 

For the 22/23 season I'd imagine we'll be top but this season Wrexham will comfortably overtake us with an expected turnover of around £20mil.
The ones with 30-50mil will be top end Championship clubs. This is the revenue and wages breakdown from the 2020/21 and 21/22 season and you can see there's not a huge gap between League 1 and 2 but a huge jump to the Championship

 

It's a 400k loss that could have been a profit if we'd beaten Carlisle and won at Wembley.

 

There's the sponsors for each match and the hospitality where we'll make most of our money. The 2 biggest issues this season will be the 3 postponed matches moving a game to tuesday night matches which will inevitably lead to some sponsors or hospitality pulling out. It's probably also been harder to sell with the lack of positivity around the club. Individual match ticket sales will have taken a hit. For the Forest Green game we sold less than 400 tickets between hospitality and match tickets.
I don't think we'll see a massive drop as a lot of the sponsorship and hospitality will have been sold long in advance especially sponsorship as most often they are sold within a week of the fixtures being announced but for next season it will be harder to sell them and the commercial team will probably have their hardest season since the covid season.

 

I was thinking more about the bigger picture of being in league 1 rather than the act of promotion itself.
