Spot on! Halliday and Richards the worst wing backs in the league.
It’s ok bombing forward but then you need to deliver quality and neither do and guess what, our attack breaks down and we don’t score enough goals.

Time to put the empty glass down and step away from the keyboard I think.
Take a pot shot at a load of them, but Halliday?? I think the young uns would refer to you as a WUM I believe

Their plan didn't collapse when they recruited Alexander. They made a mistake and they moved very quickly to rectify it. I'd call it a small blip and now they're back on track. Winkelman has always maintained that he wants MK Dons to play attacking football - that's what I was referring to when I mentioned philosophy. Again, it's a mistake, and when he realised that Alexander could neither deliver results or entertaining football, he parted ways with him. They identified an up-and-coming manager to replace him, one who shares a more modern take on the game, and got him into position rather rapidly. It's almost like they had a plan or vision.

I'd love to read up more regarding their finances. Do you think you could link me to something more recent than 2014? Thank you, Kevin.

Halliday, and Sam Walker are the only 2 players who can hold their heads high on their performance levels this season. Maybe Gillead too.

I’m not having a ‘pot shot’ as you put it. I have an opinion that for all Halliday’s work ethic and bluster getting up and down the wing, his delivery into the box is rarely good enough.
If you don’t agree with the opinion then fine but I still have it.

Gillead another player that for all his running around and endeavour he rarely produces anything of worth.
Maybe ‘it’s a bantam thing’ that fans just love players to run around fast and it doesn’t matter if there’s an end product.
Again, just my opinion, take it or leave it.

Never found wanting for effort, and a good wingback. Not good enough to play in central midfield.

The key to football these days is pressing and passing. When we recruit, we need players who press and hurry. If you want to turn over possession as easy as we do then you have to win it back

I wouldn’t say Halliday is the worst wingback, but I do agree for all the good position he gets into, the positive outcomes are minimal. I think in a back four he is absolutely solid. If he is here next season it’ll be interesting what formation we play.

A player that despite his running wouldn’t have got in any decent city team in the last 10 years unless it was on the bench

it speaks volumes that he was let go surplus to requirements and now apparently he’s one of our better players

Halliday is a great right back in a 4.
As a wing back compared to a Aaron Nemane or Jaheim Headley, he's no where near dynamic enough.

We’re sorted. We’ve got Daniel Hokeykoke.

I think he’s been alright the last couple of games. He’s got mistakes in him, but who in our back four hasn’t?

GA decided he liked him after seeing him play for about 10 minutes before he got injured. I'm quite worried that he'll try to sign him permanently in the summer.

    Isn't that a bit like saying 'yeah he's sh*t, but they're all sh*t'...?

    Which is true tbf.

If their chairman had a specific plan, philosophy and vision…….then why did he appoint Alexander? Seems bizarre. If he did due diligence, then they could be in the automatic slots?

Having a plan doesn't mean being immune from mistakes. I can't speak to what the thought process was around hiring Alexander in the first place, but they clearly identified that they'd made a mistake pretty quickly, and had the courage of their convictions to act.

It's not just our hiring of GA that indicates the lack of a plan, its the continual cycle of wildly different manager types.
