    That's the last thing you want to do at this moment. You don't want a caretaker who suddenly gets results and gets you into the playoffs and makes it hard to not appoint him. Especially if you go the DoF route you need hopefully for that to already be well along and GA to be sacked once its certain which league (and hence budget) so you can try and get the right manager who matches the DoF vision so they work well together as while you near all the DoF success stories so many fail because of this not being the case and the DoF buying players that the Manager doesn't want/need so the manager doesn't have the players to play as they want so plays players in roles that doesn't fit them so you end up wasting so much money (like Chelsea right now)

    I could say we made Grimsby look good but even with our help they still looked a poor team.

    Haha that's the word I was looking for. We have a terrible run of four defeats and it's Alexander out. We beat a piss poor Tranmere side and suddenly the garden was rosy again. Now we draw a game that has no meaning to our season and everything is doom and gloom again.
    Better.off just accepting this season has been a disaster and look to start again next season. No point losing your shit over a game that won't affect where we end up.

    On the basis that they were Dog Poo, then l think a 1-1 draw was about fair. The fact that we are scraping a draw against a dreadful Grimsby says an awful lot.
