I've seen some cack games this season but this one is right up there so far. Not one player on either side looks comfortable on the ball. I'm sure I could fit into either side at 62 and not look out out of place, terrible quality for so called professional footballers!

 

Maybe we need a protest to motivate them to play

 

Well i will tell you what City fans won't put up with that style of non football. There is only one place GA is going ,and that's down the road.

 

At this stage a season ticket boycott looks less like a protest and more like a sensible, sane decision.

 

This is the inconsistency GA spoke about. We seem incapable of stringing 2 or 3 decent games together. It can’t help by constantly changing the starting line up. Taking Walker out has completely disrupted any momentum we could have made. GA has a habit of shooting himself in foot.

 

Atleast he only signed a 3 year deal, with another years option on it too!

He’s almost Teflon like in Alexander’s eyes

 

Well no one can complain about the pitch, looks like some are on the beach, surely we can raise our game and increase our tempo.

 

Never seen him play before he signed but as a championship level player I was expecting, well not even much more actually, but just to pass the ball accurately and be more of a influence on the game. He's so far below my expectations. Can't even remember more than one or two good games from him.

 

His style of football is turgid and a world away from the Hughes style which makes his appointment a ludicrous but not surprising decision given who made it!
Fans hated the Hughes passing style though. For me, that was the way to go, but where MH fell down was in not addressing the glaring issues in midfield.

 

I'm actually quite enjoying this. Its so bad and all over the place. I can't see either team keeping this pace up. We don't look like scoring, as we don't seem to keep the ball for more than two minutes. We'll get undone by a long throw.

 

he's certainly not the influence many had hoped he'd be dropping two divisions should be a cake walk for a seasoned pro like Smallwood disappointing is an understatement.

 

Obikwu is the worst player I've seen this season, hands down

 

If ever a stat summed up a half, at half time the accurate passing stats were 63% for Grimsby and 56% for City.

 

Walker and Chapman on for Pointon and a CB for me. Go 4 at the back, we don't need so much central depth with 2 sitting midfielders, we need Walker sat in the gap between midfield and attack to try create space.

Chapman for Pointon because it's not his day at all so far.

 

TBF what choice does GA have, Smallwood is the only CM who can stay fit………out of 3-4 we have.
