Exactly. Because without us fans this club is nothing.

To be fair to GA he generally comes across well in interviews, even if I don't always agree with him.

I really would love to be there to support this but pre-planned family events prevent that from happening. I think all I am we can ask is that anyone who is physically able to, supports this peaceful and legitimate protest. We need additional media traction now to show it's not just words on here. Actions do speak far louder than words after all

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Ryan wrote that headline and told Parker to print it.

Got to say despite recent results I do really like GA and can’t wait to see him put his stamp on the team with players he actually wants.

I think he’s the one person who definitely deserves a chance

I just fear he’ll be hamstrung by tightened purse strings this summer and be given an almost impossible task

Exactly. Looks like a club PR press release to me. One of many over the years.

Maybe it's just me but I think he's a waffler. I've always found that the ones who speak a lot and for a long time about how good they are or how they can fix a problem are the ones who produce nothing when it comes to action. Very much like his boss.

This is the thing that statement was put out to fool the weak minded. Nothing of note he said he would change. Ok, a DOF might come in but that person will still report to Sparks who is the major problem at the club. The budget will increase is just guess work. Could say I would put in 10m at this stage, it means nothing.

Not getting rid of Sparks highlights he hasn’t listened to fans at all.

Maybe, a structured letter from supporters with Thier viewpoints regarding SP may be of use.

So in Parker’s post match report, he says we had the 8th highest wage budget in league 2. Yet, Sparks insisted we had a competitive top 3 budget. Born liar strikes again!

I sincerely hope the first departure from the club that we announce is Sparks. He has continually bullshitted his way through his time at Bradford and has repeatedly had the fans’ pants down

8th highest budget and we end joint 8th on worse GD, shows the importance of budget regardless of what some say. Money means everything in football sadly, I don’t like it but if you can’t beat them you have to join them. Hopefully Rupp is good to his word, we need the top budget next season if MK get promoted, no more excuses about not being able to compete with this pub team or the other.

It's easy to say that, but unless you've got a special budget (high or low), it's not going to make much difference.

There will be anomalies up and down the league table that can only be explained by good/bad running/planning.

I'd need to see the 'budget table' to see how it stacked up with the league table, but most websites I've glanced at are assuming FGR had a high budget.

Gillingham's was probably a fair chunk bigger than ours this season and they've been dour all season and completely unable to score goals.

The difference this season is that Wrexham and Stockport were expected to canter to victory, and kinda did. But that's not all money, they've been signing really well by and large, and Stockport stuck with Challinor who at one point could have been sacked and their season might have gone belly up if they'd replaced him with the wrong manager.

There's a lot to this game, money is a major thing, but it certainly isn't everything - as we've found in past seasons with big budgets and no success.

Anomalies yes, usually around bad planning by people throwing money at crap and the odd miracle team. But if you look through the automatic promotion spots across the EFL, I bet the majority are around where they should be in terms of spend. Only Ipswich I can think of that wouldn’t be.

I think when you get to the Championship, it's going to be very difficult to compete with the parachute clubs, or those bought out by insanely rich owners. Premier League, obviously, speaks for itself in terms of teams with mega-budgets.

League One is just the same old story. 'Big' teams that have been in all sorts of financial turmoil like Derby and Bolton now competing at a good level without ever plummeting to the depths we've sunk to (at least on a consistent basis). Every 'big' club but us seems to be able to turn things round pretty easily no matter how bleak or bad things get.

FFS. Now I'm depressed, thanks Wilsden ;)
