    I've been looking for my old SOS - Save Our Stuart - card from the demonstration at a home game around 2010 when ML was rumoured to be sacking SMc. At some agreed point during the game, we were expected to stand up brandishing the cards as support for SMc

    If I can find it, I'm now intending to 'repurpose' it - 'Sod Off Sparks'! ;)

    My comment was about the car park in front of the main entrance to the Morrison Stand where I believe I read that was the original place to gather.
    Good luck I'll not be attending.

    I will go, not sure what good it will do. if any.
    You would like to think it would at least make Ryan Sparks come out with some sort of statement, but i believe he has his head buried so far up his own behind, he has forgotten what day light is.
    It is Easter though and a time of miracles.

    I would guess the most effective way of stopping vehicles is to have a couple of hundred people walking up and down slowly on the dropped kerb (light vehicle crossing) entrance to the Main Stand on Valley Parade, pedestrians have the right of way as it is a public footpath.
    The Stewards could not (as l understand it) prevent pedestrians from exercising their right to walk over an area in public ownership.
    Sitting down or standing may be seen as causing an obstruction, but in effect walking slowly would not.
    I am not an expert on this area of law, but that would be my general ‘lay’ understanding.
    In fact just walking (no chanting or inappropriate language) would be a very effective (and healthy;)) exercise in general.
    I really think that protesters need to be very careful and behave in a manner which breaks no rules whatsoever.
    I think @Pidge@Pidge and @Bantam Steve@Bantam Steve could comment on what thoughts and advice they have been given?
    I really don’t want to see any City Supporters run the risk of arrest and potentially being charged with some offence.
    When you organise something then there is some degree of responsibility, even if it is only moral.

    You only have to look at the facebook page when it comes to them trying to sell season tickets and its full of posts with folk simply not wanting to renew.

    So we have a protest Friday the potential of 5k fans walking away and yet they do nothing ?????

    Fook me whats Sparks thinking now ????
    That somehow we are gonna be better next season with less money coming in ????

    He does speak well and that was a pretty considered response that showed understanding about the level of dissatisfaction that the fans of the club are feeling.

    And all the while, leaving GA as basically THE only person in the club to communicate with the fans via media outlets is absolutely sickening. He must be wondering why the frig he came to this basket case of a club
