Protests Planned.

You are a mouthy one aren't you, always calling out other fans. Telling people the club have had their pants down and then claiming it's just 'banter'.....

 

This blog , shows just bow bad things are at City , even the fan's ,who all want the same thing, regime change and just a little bit of progress, can not agree how to go about it, every proposal is rejected and then petty name calling follows.
If we want to change things , all differences must be put aside and we have to work as one.
Whatever we do though it has to be done legally and around the club, Peoples homes and personnel lives , are nothing to do with the club.

 

The only known protest to have forced action was the prospect of the plane banner. Maybe because Rupp knew it was actually going ahead. At the moment, he has nothing to fear because there is nothing concrete in the pipeline. He only has to see out the last remaining home games, and everything will die down for the summer. Let's revisit the plane protest and let the whole footballing community know how we, the fans, feel about how this club is being mismanaged. Surely Sky Sports, Talksport, BBC and the written sports media would start asking questions about why a club with regularl championship crowds is going backwards and failing so badly. It might even prompt potential investors to enquire about the price.

 

I don’t call people out individually but yes as a collective fanbase we are a fickle, demanding bunch who have gotten very used to cheap prices for a long time.
The club have had everyone’s pants down this season for sure but again I think the blame for poor player recruitment in the summer does not lay at Rupps door and probably not Sparks either. It was Hughes who ripped up the team from last season.

 

Well it’s an offence to enter the pitch or throw things onto it.
So we are left with some pointless options.
1. Booing and chanting from the stands.
2. Non attendance

 

There are ways to protest peacefully &get your points across
1,Email the ticket office tell them your not renewing your season ticket until change at the top
2,protest outside the main stand before each home game(ML will have to park somewhere else) do not obstruct turnstiles or hamper sponsors going in
But chant for change at the top
3,protest inside the ground with banners & chanting for change
4,then back outside the main stand until all have gone home
5, you will have broken no laws you are not obstructing people from going in or out of the ground entering the field of play or ground regulations
That is a start those who wish to renew can do so without hinderence

It wouldn't surprise me though if a certain CEO took steps with stewards and the Police to 'disperse' fans ahead of time..... but we have to try....

 

Yep, some stewards checking tickets at top of steps and by car park gates. Anyone without a ticket for main stand turned away

 

Yes it will be classed as private property I would think.

 

Valley parade and Burlington street are public roads. Nothing to stop anyone protesting from there. Stand accross the car park entrance from 12pm onwards to cause disruption to directors / sponsors from getting in. Let them be delayed for a few minutes whilst they have no option but to wait in the car and listen to the protests.

 

I wasn't gonna go but my lad wants to go for the shits and giggles. Could get messy what with folk trying to get into the main stand although with the numbers at the last game it might not be that big a problem. Will be interesting to see how many turn up, I personally will be there as things have gone past the point of no return. Well, unless something dramatic happens this week which I doubt.
We can't have no happy clapping now until things change, Rupp really needs to understand the feeling of anger about what's happened over the last 6 seasons. Wins till the end of the season mean nothing now. All effort should be made to make the owner necessitate change.

@Bantam Steve have you tried contacting talkSport? In recent weeks on the Jim White & Simon Jordan show they have given airtime to disgruntled supporters of various clubs such as Sheff Weds, Reading, etc.
