The club needs support more than ever. Talk about sacking ANOTHER manager are exactly what is wrong with the mentality of the club. Talk about not renewing season tickets like spoilt kids is not only fruitless it’s harmful.

if you want to show your unrest then the only man that can resolve is Rupp. Believe me this man has been hoodwinked not just the one time.

Harrogate may prove pivotal in the next direction the club takes. Rupp needs to either step aside or gain a lieutenant that not only he trusts but so must every department of the football club and fan base.

The time for change is upon us. Rupp must take the step that will allow the club to turn the corner that’s needed. Whether that selling to the new investors or gaining trust in the influential man he requires, that’s his decision he must take.

The ball is in Stefan's court.

He must take decisive action to prevent a mass exodus. If he can't be bothered, though, he'll find his sheer apathy is matched among the support. If he offers no hope at all, he will find fewer supporters (read: investors) as with any business endeavour.

It's time for some hard truths.

Rupp and Sparks have divided the fan base and already done a massive amount of harm. If we don't move towards damage limitation, you're right, the club might fall.

Another bash the fans post. Support the ISG if you really care about the club.

Some really interesting English there. Almost like it is not a first language. Anyway, despite everything, I feel no ill will to Herr Rupp. I just hope that he will make a decision soon with respect to the ownership, or more importantly, the running of the football side of the club. A positive change there might just help to cool things down. We will see.

Imagine trying to blame fans for not renewing their £250 season ticket saying it’s going to harm the club while the OWNER is worth 100m+ absolutely staggering peoples train of thought at the moment to even try and blame fans.

I think the point is there’s no winner here, certainly not from a fan perspective.
If there’s a standoff where there’s a mass exodus of fans and Rupp doesn’t put in the shortfall then the club dies, probably doesn’t even start next season. Is that really what everyone is prepared for?

That’s such weak mentality IMO, so we continue to be bent over a barrel with the fear that the club is going to go out of business. Putting our hard earnt money into a something that is failing and has been for a number of years now, add into that we have little to no say on how the business runs. A clueless and incompetent CEO who’s killing the club whilst earning probably more than anyone on this forum. Yet it’s the fans to blame, come on let’s get fecking real. Rupp won’t let the club die he’s got too much of an investment in it.

Point 1. I doubt it, there’s some wealthy people on this forum 1000%
Point 2. His investment in this club is small change to him. He could send us into liquidation tomorrow and not give a flying feck.

There is no standoff. People are voting with their feet right now. Rupp and Sparks need to look in the mirror and see why.

    Stop being their apologist.

Sometimes with some of the ridiculous posts from our fans, I wonder if we don’t really deserve to have a club to support at all. The content with absolute tripe sickens me. WE ARE 17TH IN LEAGUE TWO YOU CLUELESS TOO HATS

I get it's supposed to be some sort of rallying cry but it's tosh. How anyone could describe City fans as spoiled is beyond me. On the whole whats been served up has been really poor for years. The clubs not entitled to my renewal every season and if they think that way they need to wake up. In fact if it had been any other hobby/service I pay for I would have stopped long ago.

The club is sitting where it is in the league because we have a very weak mentality at the helm of the managerial structure. Too often their mindset falls into the seasonal one of the likes of rcbantam or fordy who don’t understand stability.

the club is at a major crossroads. Sacking another manager may lead to its demise with such weak higher management that Rupp has installed his faith in. The clubs structure needs revamped and it’s on Rupp now to sort or allow the new investors in who will unite the club and fan base.

the problem at city is their assets. It’s limited. Rupp was looking for 10m when the club was more galvanised. At this time as a new set of accounts are published he needs to reflect on the reality what the club is worth under a fragmented support. The support is the clubs main asset.

I believe change is upon us and Harrogate this weekend may see movement on Rupps next move. Will he look to off load at a fair price or will he try and galvanise by bringing in trustees. The simple fact is the status quo can’t continue. It’s of no benefit to anyone.

I believe there has always been investors that are city men. The club has limited assets but has a potential 20k fan base that currently is being torn apart by incompetence.

The problem financially is, Rupp investment is being diluted and he must act before it’s worthless. That time is now.
