We were 5th in League One when these clowns took over. At what stage do you start asking the questions that need asking?

 

Nobody gives a feck if Stefan ends up with nothing but I care if we have a club.

 

I fully agree mate something has to change but my concern is withdrawing funds from the club can only serve to push us closer to oblivion.

 

What if…..season ticket sales are so low for next season that we simply cannot keep even the current underachieving squad together and we find ourselves near the bottom come January.
No matter what Rupp does from that point is futile because no player will want to join us with a risk of relegation no matter how much cash he throws at it.

 

Forest green and Sutton both signed players in January while staring down the barrel of relegation, immediately puts that argument to bed

 

Think that should be directed at Messrs Rupp and Sparks
Maybe get the reaction most fans are looking for

I will take no responsibility for my actions as to what happens to the club. The Board have a responsibility to make this club viable. The customers are not happy with the product that has been on offer for several seasons. We were promised PL within 5 years. Here we are struggling in the middle of LG 2. I haven’t made my mind up yet but the doomsters will not influence my decision.

 

And as things stand, very soon the club will become non viable.
Something has to change

 

Nothing more divisive than thread title like this if fans don't want to renew fine, enjoy what your doing instead on a Saturday afternoon.

 

The first thing I want to change is for Sparks to be sacked as CEO and a suitable replacement employed.
I want to see Rupp over here in person at least once per month.
To remediate the potential loss of season tickets I think Rupp needs to make a statement of intent for next season.

 

If Rupp has just taken Julian's word that Ryan is a suitable replacement for himself (when the guy he was chasing didn't materialise) and Rupp is happy with Julian's candidate then he's learnt nothing from the fiasco with Rahic.

 

There will be a percentage drop this season which will be manageable. But if fans don’t support the club in the long term then prices will go up to the norm and gates will drop accordingly.
The affordable prices we have paid for years was initially instigated on the understanding we would sell a set amount of tickets can’t remember the number. Regretfully those days look like they are numbered

 

Correct so the quitters make it more expensive for the remainers

 

And who's to blame for that
Years of decline and a sub standard product should be your answer people have had enough

Don’t disagree with any of that! As I’ve mentioned, I’ve renewed my season tickets (four of us).
I did however walk out early on Saturday - I can only remember walking out at 5-0 down to Sheffield United many years back.
He has to act quickly to at least address the issue and buy some faith and trust from the fans.

 

I honestly don’t understand why it is the fans fault for years of failure. We have been funding this for 7 years. Rupp and Rahic inherited the enormous good will of the fans, now they can hardly be bothered to recognise our existence! The some fans who wish to continue buying ST’s are now pointing the finger at those fans who have had enough of being ignored and taken for granted. We are an empty shell of a club, and I would hazard a guess that is why we are not successful. Rupp and Sparks are hiding from the wrath of the fans and somehow that is ok. We have no plan for the club going forward, so until I see some semblance of just how we are going to get out of this league I will continue to raise this issue.

 

I don't expect us to sell many more than 8,000 season tickets by deadline day
I for one will not be renewing but that's because of health reasons
If I can get to games next season I will buy a ticket a few days before the game
Only a change of CEO as soon as replacement can be found can make a difference to ST sales
The sale of the club could take anywhere between 6 & 12 months
Alexander's team can do the rest on the pitch to get fans back in the ground

 

I agree but how do you determine we have a suitable replacement? Only time will tell.

 

That finger pointing is, I’m sure, a very small minority. Most people are reasonable enough to understand and definitely appreciate your right to do as you wish!
I admire it actually, I’m just too soft and weak willed not to renew
