Dropping Cook is an interesting call. Despite his goal scoring record this season being reasonable it feels like he’s had more bad / anonymous games than good games. Nice to see GA mixing it up.

 

I hope so but everyone can see that Smith isn't good enough. I think GA is thinking that if we did well against Wycombe, another strong team, we could play the same today?

 

He looked shattered the other night. Nothing more to it IMO

 

In the depths of my mind, I’m recollecting that he’s got a great record vs Stags. He’s good against former teams. Big call by GA.

 

Something we 100% know - if you're going to drop ok, but NEVER against one of his former clubs and NEVER EVER against Mansfield. He will always score against Mansfield.

I believe in this league more so than any other that you need to mix it up and wrong foot the opposition. They will have practised all week on dealing with Cooky and long balls into the box, which Flint would have dealt with tbh. So let's change it up and see how they deal with pace running at them and balls in behind. Could be a masterstroke from GA, time will tell!

 

Bar Cook not starting it could be ok.

Gillead at right wing back is fair enough.
Walker centre mid with Smallwood is fair enough.

Apart from Smith for Cook, there's not too many unrealistic changes there.
