We bumping this thread after every defeat now?

You either want Rupp and Sparks out or you don't.

If you didn't after Accrington, you shouldn't after tonight.

That slogan used in the promo video whilst showing us losing in the last minute to Wycombe is the most BCAFC thing right now.

    Totally agree.

Even if we somehow got promoted, it wouldn't change my mind.

If we don’t get promoted this season (huge laugh), then I think RS should stand down. I think by his own admission, it’ll be now two seasons in a row he’s failed to hit his KPI’s. That would be have been a great question not to be answered at the “forum” last month.

I dont think many sensible fans are changing their minds on this after each result be it good or bad - did you change your mind after we beat a very youthful Accies team? I certainly didn't!
They just want to see some proper leadership at the club, to go to matches with some hope they will be entertained - crowds are definitely dwindling and a can't be bothered with this malaise is growing.
Whether its going to have any impact or not at least those trying to contact and engage Rupp are doing something. Anyone else noted Sparks has gone into hiding again since his much maligned interviews. Its a sad state of affairs

As is tweeting 'not our night' at the end of the game when we've only won 21 out of the last 65 home games. Most nights are not are night. It's a bantams thing.

Following another home game postponement due to a waterlogged pitch yesterday, the Colchester owners issued a long statement to their fans, to explain the issues they have faced, what they have done in the past, and what they plan to do to rectify it. A very simple but effective method of communicating with fans, that is all we ask but it is something Rupp & Sparks have been absolutely incapable of for a good while now

As I trudged away from the match last night, I just said to my lad that I have never EVER felt so detached from the club. As @Petrov@Petrov states above, the home form is absolutely abysmal, so unenjoyable and predictable, and the REAL attendances of the last 3 or 4 home matches are a sign of things to come

I truly fear the only way we are going to get out of this league under the current regime is downwards. Obviously not this season, but continue with no plan, aim or leadership and it is inevitable, and there's nothing us normal fans can do. I don't have money or know-how to run a club, 99% of our fan base won't

    Utterly depressing

The undignified silence around the state of the pitch is also dumb founding, it's almost like well it is what it is, we're dealt a bad hand with the geographic nature of it , so so be it.

Well I'm sorry, but it's killing us, we can't play on it. We get laughed at and criticised by other teams for the state of it, yet they only have to play on it once, we are on it every other week plus five times this month it's affects us more than the opposition but those in charge do sod all.

I'm tempted to suggest that was Hughes still in charge, then it wouldn't have been left to get in the state it's in now

We go absolutely nowhere until they're both gone I'm afraid.

Bolton, a similarly sized(ish) club to City, got relegated to League Two after us. Completely and utterly bankrupt and as per Sky Sports News' classy countdown, were literally within an hour or so of going entirely bust.

Yet they bounced back at the first time of asking and now a handful of years later stand on the brink of a return to the Championship. The difference? They got a new board and owners with an interest in their club and a vision. Went out and appointed Evatt and stuck to a plan.

I'd not even be confident of City knowing the equivalent Evatt type manager now (Barrow were NL at the time) let alone going out appointing them and acting to a plan.

A club our size with the pull our club has at this level should not be failing.

If we had any idea what we were doing, we wouldn't be in League Two.

Another club that was dead and in the Conference North a little over 4 years ago investing in their future with League 1 and beyond in mind. Leaving us behind...

Obviously we don't require stadium expansion, but it's the intent and intention.

This is what is bothering me and winding me up. Other teams who have been in a precarious position have come out of it and doing very nicely thank you. We have the wrong owner, wrong CEO etc etc., Until the plan of sustainability is replaced with a plan for the 21st century football league this nothingness will continue.

Likewise. I really, genuinely don't expect us to be winning every week and realistically at our limit as a club we're top end L1, bottom end Championship in this day and age.

However, it's the complete and utter apathy from those running the ship. There's no vision, no investment, no indication of a brighter future no matter the timeframe. We really do just whack a squad together every summer and cross our fingers. We have stagnated, regressed in reality and nothing will change until significant changes happen behind the scenes. L2 isn't a difficult league to get out of. There's four spots up for grabs every season, you need to be organised, physical, well drilled. Six seasons now and we've come close once. It just isn't good enough.

What bothers me and winds me up is we already have everything these clubs desperately want, and we still can't make it work....

    It's tragic.
