They could whack it up to a £100 increase for me if i knew the money was being spent wisely but it will be down to covering yet another season of fook ups :(

If folk do walk away and we do lose money then who is to blame ?????

I mean even at £200 a season ticket our revenue incomes should still dwarf most clubs at this level so why do we continue to fail ??????? Its one simple things and its the powers that be that simply make a mess year upon year and they want folk to invest more of there fook ups ???

Will i renew i simply dont know but i aint gonna pull anyone to bits for not doing so and i can guarantee if there was a change at the top with folk coming in who do care then i doubt sales would drop at all.

You only have to look at Accrington the numbers they get at home the limited advertising space, merchandise sales etc etc and they stand just 4 points of us and to me thats the real issue :(

You only have to view whats above us to see there is something badly wrong and in all honesty i doubt things will change until Rupp and Sparks pee off

Are the increases driven by a potential new owner on the horizon I wonder?

Not really, couldn't care less about you/them. It's not some form of weird 'family' / cult.

We know season ticket pricing has been done to death but any new owner worth their salt would surely consider the present pricing, I personally can't see any point in having a stadium that holds 24,000 and increasing ticket prices to a level where it is half empty, and the knock on from less fans buying merchandise, using hospitality etc, pricing would control itself going forward a good league one team around the top would attract 15,000 + and if we did get to the Championship then we would be in the high teens 18/19,000 and that itself IMO would dictate ticket prices.

I think the issue is the cheap tickets hadn’t kept up with other prices so if anything over the years they had got cheaper. Even with this increase it wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t still one of thehave cheapest tickets in our league.

it is all well and good saying price can go up if we get further up etc but if we got promoted and an owner suddenly doubled the price there would be outrage even though it would still be cheaper than most in league one

Any new owner or Rupp would have to weigh up the situation, if they believed doubling the price would be a good move the Bradford public would ultimately be the people who would have the final say on that decision.
I agree we have been treated very well in the past with regards season ticket prices especially during the good times under Parky.
If prices were increased the stuff we've seen recently would IMO have an impact on fans (mostly with families) would they renew even at £200 we've seen many empty seats at games, I believe the reasons the club have put forward have credibility with regards increasing the prices for me its not a problem but for a family of four that might not be the case.

Been a season ticket holder for as long as I can remember
Except for my time in the force's
    Will I renew I don't know
My friends I travelled with is not available to due to health reasons

Travelling alone is no fun anymore
The football on show over the last few years is demoralising
I got up for breakfast yesterday and found we were 2 up
No in my lifetime of following the [Bantams, Paraders, city gents] what ever nickname you want it's mostly been 4 division football
Sparks & Rupp are no better than any other chairmen / Owner we have had
    Will I renew I don't know

Its a dilemma for us older ones and become a big part of our lives going for years and seeing the bad times and enjoying the great times, for me ive made the conscious decision not to renew basically for whats been offered on the pitch but also the circus thats going on behind the scenes which i personally in think is putting our club in a grave position iff it continues, hopefully in the near future things will be sorted untill I'll be watching and listening on the radio and supporting our team every week especially on here

Not wanting an argument but if you have been watching since 1960 similar to me who first went in 1958 there have been many worst times than these. I have a longish treck every match and yes sometimes it gets you down but not renewing is not in the Question for me. We made the play offs last season and we are in the mix again this time albeit on the edge of it. You know from history that change of ownership rarely changes much and unless we get a benefactor little will change. However if you don’t want to attend any more for whatever reason it’s a pity

Decent post that Park. I recon that's how most of us feel deep down, it's a shame that folk are deciding not to attend, for whatever reason, but you cant blame them.

None taken Park apart from what i stated im having mobility problems which i dident mention in the above post and you are correct in your post about a new benefactor, new investment is badly needed, hopefully things will change in the future because the fans deserve better, City DNA is imprinted in my my soul its got to be after all these years but for me im giving my season ticket a break and watch from the sidelines, my son and grandson will be there has usual and will be cheering on our team to hopefully a successful season

I've been trying to understand myself in relation to Bradford City after all these years. Do I want to go and watch them play Sutton on a Saturday afternoon? No, I don't. Do I want to go on a dank Tuesday night to watch them play Doncaster? No, again. I have to be honest with myself. I really don't want to go. So what's changed? Am I just too old to put myself through it? I think I probably am. There's also the undeniable fact that for the last few years I've just been bored witless, game after game. I just don't feel the excitement anymore, even when we've won. There's so little to be proud of. I can appreciate that there are many of my age, and indeed any age, who carry on regardless and I applaud you all for your loyalty. But to me, loyalty means so little in the modern world in almost every walk of life. It's just thrown back in your face. And, given the present circumstances at City, that's even more so. Those of us who have watched the team over so many years are really just a number on the season ticket list as far as the present management are concerned. Perhaps we always were, I don't know.
Anyway, as I've said, I'm not renewing my season ticket and won't be attending next season. This is an entirely personal decision, and I make no judgement on anyone else.
I will follow the club from a distance and wish everyone well.
And I hope I find it within myself to return in the future. We'll see.

Not, in my lifetime of following the [Bantams, Paraders, city gents ] what ever nickname you want have I ever given second thoughts about renewing
Only in my lifetime has a owner or chairman done what he said he would do & that's Geoffrey Richmond & we know how that ended
Rupp is no better or worse than anyone else except he does what some of our so called fans are doing (staying away)
Someone will buy him out sooner or later but unless he has money to burn buying the ground back build a new training ground &getting this club up to the championship won't be easy
Time for me to think over next few weeks what I will do

That exellent post says it all for me mate, has i posted to Park im having mobility problems but i would still go, what was said about sustainably i thought to myself what is the point, that comment brougt it to ahead, what is the point of me struggling to these matches iff the clubs ambition is just to keep the status quo, like yourself I'll always support the club its been part of our lives for years, but iff thats the limit of ambition for our club from the owners thats me finished !

I don't quite understand what you mean @knaresborough bantam@knaresborough bantam. You seem to suggest 'so called fans' aren't going, but then say you need to think over what you'll do?

Surely the only decision is a pie or no pie, a beer or no beer, if you think those staying away aren't real fans?
