It doesn't really change much that's why. Even a win on Tuesday and we can only go as high as 11th with 10 matches to play. It's still a bit 'meh'.

If we keep this run going i.e beat FGR and then beat Mansfield I think a lot of people will start getting excited, however we all know the likely scenario is we'll fluff against one or both of the next opponents.

 

That first half was excellent from us. People will say it was a poor an inexperienced Stanley side, but over the years, we'd go a goal up an then let the other team get back into the game. Not today. We stayed on the front foot throughout, pressed high, direct with our attack. Didnt give the opposition a chance.

Great linkup play between Cook an Wright. Id probably say that from all of our attacking options, they seem to compliment one another best. Glad to see Walker get some minutes on return from injury. Think Gillead did really well today. Pressed throughout an was very tidy on the ball. I actually liked the look of Ridehalgh as the LCB. Think he linked up well with Richards, an moving forward, that should be his position should he play. He allows us to get the ball forward, better than id say Kelly when he plays on the left of the back 3. Onto Tuesday now. Need to keep it up

 

I hope we do beat FGR, then Mansfield. I hope we win every game this season, and the next.

The better position we're in when I next buy a season ticket, the better.

But it won't be when any of Rupp, Sparks, or @wetherbywhaler have anything to do with this club.

No Cheshire Cats for me.

Good performance yesterday yeah the oppo where poor but how many times have we fooked them sort if games up.

We get two wins on the cabbage field then who knows i aint getting my hopes up now.

The signs are there that given the right tools and the right recruitment then GA could get us out of this Khazi league but we sadly all know the issues there

 

I've just seen an interesting stat. Since GA came in, we are +2 points compared to the equivalent games played last year and - 9 overall in terms of points total after 35 games. We only gained 2 points over games 36-38 last season so a chance to make up some ground in the next 3 games if the decent form continues.

There is a certain irony on this thread which isn’t lost on me, the supposed super fans such as Loyal and Park who love to criticise other fans have barely said a word about a very good away win on this match thread. Instead they’ve used it as another chance to try score cheap points to show they’re the more Uber fan, I don’t think they’re even bothered about the 3 points, rather the chance to have a cheap gloat.

 

No because people decisions to jump ship and abandon the club are not based on personal circumstances, they are born out of fickleness because we don’t win every game, get to cup finals and win promotion every other season.
The prices have gone up £50 and people are in outrage.

 

Why do we need to come on and talk about it. I was there, I went to support the team, I’m pleased with the result, end of.
Likewise I wasn’t on here on Tues night complaining about the shite performance.

 

Erm because it is a match thread about the game maybe, not a piss and moan about what other fans decide to do with their own time and money. People like yourself honestly deserve the club to drop into non league, then you can brag all you want about how great of a fan you are and how shite the rest are.

 

Jump ship implies there is another ship ie club I will be supporting; no chance. You talk about abandoning the club, I feel the club has abandoned me. They refuse to communicate with the fans, just a pathetic screen shot of increase in running costs, well I run a household and inflation has had an impact on my running costs as well, so treating me like an idiot. Fickleness! Really! I am well used to watching City in the 4th division, as we have been there a good deal of time. I was 18 years old when I first went to VP 1967 we were in the 4th Division then as well. We have supported the club ever since. I have made my position clear as to why I am considering not buying a ST this season. It is not a whimsical decision in fact it will be very hard.

However, you have your image to maintain and your ill thought out post on the reasons why ppl might not buy a ST this season fits your image and agenda.

How did Tyreik Wright play yesterday and in what role?

Great that he scored a couple of goals and hopefully gained some confidence.

 

Well last time I checked it was against the law to text whilst driving. By the time I’d got back, had tea, done other things it was late and the urge to make post match comments on a message board had passed. I’ll leave that to the couch potatoes who watched on iFollow.

 

Can we not as Bradford city fans , just enjoy the win, the current form, the clean sheets etc.
Without name calling and finger pointing.
We are still in with a chance of making the playoff's for a sucessive season. Whilst that chance is there we all need to stand togethor and get behind GA and the players.
