Chapman did well to beat his man and get the cross in.

Richards has had a decent impact since coming on too.

 

Glad Wilson has come on and had a go. Looking to drive everytime. We have a few too many wingers who want many touches and to cone inside. Like seeing a winger just try stretch and get their head down.

 

Wilson reminds me of Tony Daley. Or Frank Spencer on roller-skates. Can’t decide which.

 

This referee is bloody pathetic. Clear hand ball on the edge of the box. Terrible official .

 

We couldn't really afford to drop points tonight, but I don't really want to have a dig at any of the players. The effort, energy and attitude of the players was spot on all night. No issues there.

The criticism is that it was all a bit frantic. We lacked control and structure and I think much of that was rooted in the decision to play Odour in a midfield pair. Baffling. As was the decision not to bring in a central midfielder in January.

 

Has the referee got anything right? We've had some bad referees over the years but even they got some correct decisions. This guy is an absolute turnip

 

Dreadful refereeing but credit to Doncaster, they played well and it was a fair result.

 

Poor yellow shown early and then he just kept getting them wrong.
Not a bad tackle in the game and 9 yellow cards plus both managers.

 

After that referee performance why was there only 4 minutes extra.time?

 

I missed that late challenge on Oduor but should have been a red by the sounds of Morais’ response?

 

Ref was so bad, for both teams. But if we're honest we didn't test the keeper enough, can't recall him doing much outside picking the Smith shot out his goal.

Nine points off 6th, seven points off 7th with a game in hand. Big task to catch and maintain pace especially with the huge pack also chasing.

 

Terrible officials ruined the game.

Think GA got the starting XI wrong and we lost the impact Odour has had on recent games. However changes were positive and all 4 contributed to getting us back in the game. Great finish from Smith, equally from Chapman to set him up.

Draw better than defeat but a back step in performance versus the Wycombe game.

 

The players gave their all, just lacked the quality unfortunately but can’t criticise them running themselves into the ground for 95 minutes. Ref didn’t help never seen a more petty ref.

 

Dreadful ref. Can't blame him though we weren't good enough.

 

Fair result to be fair, Donny much improved since our win there at Xmas, all a bit hurried tonight but that down to Rovers hard graft
I’ve not giving up on the play offs just yet, we have become hard to beat, but need to start picking up more wins especially at VP

 

Credit to Doncaster. I don't think they really wasted much time and were the better side overall. Another inconsistent performance and Smallwood is missed in the middle of the park

 

I think their 47 slipped and it made it look a lot worse.

 

The yellow for Stubbs is one of the most ridiculous yellow cards I've ever seen.

The only 2 clear yellows were the one for Odour, and the yellow for the keeper for time wasting. And given the rules, Tomkinson for dissent, but I understand entirely where his reaction came from.

 

Poor game and fortunate to get a point out of that. Strange selections by Alexander, none more so than Oduor in CM, completely negating everything that was good about him for the past few games. And after some good football against Wycombe, back to the ugly and ineffective hoofball just because Cook is on the pitch. Really bizarre.

 

Very frustrating. Appalling ref. In retrospect we had the front five available who'd played so well against Wycombe so why change them? Wright, I'm afraid, has done nothing since his return, so why bring him in? I still like the idea of having a more attacking player in the central two, Pattison would have been ideal, but we haven't the players to do that for the rest of this season so needs must. We got a frenetic equaliser but could just as easily have lost. Their goal was a mile offside too. Really trying evening.
