What a complete over reaction from some on here . Love listening to Thornton and sticks before he quit .

Tim & Sticks were good, Jason is a bit more feisty and defensive than Tim, but whatever.

 

You’ve clearly never listened to Tim Steer and Andy Kiwomya. If they’re the other ‘option’, then I have to disagree with you.

Not a fan of Jason (WOAP), but he’s still much better than Kiwomya. Almost sent me to sleep. And don’t get me started on their discussion about a moth....!

 

I listened to ifollow on Sat and it was Radio Leeds I believe. They had Andy Kywomya as co- commentator. He’s bloody slow getting his words out and by the time he’d finished a sentence the ball was in the opposite penalty area. Same against Shrews as well. He’s bloody dire!

Yes the do. Of course they do. Its just that you don't like them and have cosied up to radio L666ds to listen to the drawl and drivel they come out with. I think its the fact they speak a lot slower on Radio L666ds that appeals to you.

Put a microphone on any City fan and you would get a similar commentary to Jason Thornton and his guest summariser. 50 percent talking about the game and 50 percent talking about where they're going for a curry after the game.

 

I would agree BUT you would pick up the ranting from the knobhead who sits in front of me who slates EVERY bad pass, bad shot etc etc and that would make bad listening. We keep reminding him we left the PL some years ago.

it's not me then. The only time I got bulging veins in my neck was when I got the bill for my clutch replacement.

exactly my point. I set off from Skipton a while back and got to Bingley before I knew what the score was. Knew Jason was having a chicken bhuna though.

 

To be fair to him, you do get a lot of dull games at this level and it can't easy trying to commentate on an eventless borefest. When he starts waffling, I'm presuming it's because nothing is happening. In such instances, there's only so long he can tell you who's passing the ball to who without it getting a bit tedious.
