Of course we are playing our full strength team, madness how anyone would even think any different at this stage. Worth around £500k for winning the thing all in, more valuable than any league game in a season where we will end 10-11th. We are a sustainable club, we can’t afford to set fire to money.

No one who hasn't been to every home game this season should be allowed Wembley tickets.

I suppose so but I have been on this band wagon since 1967. It becomes more difficult as we get older parking etc., Never bothered about the weather or walking distance when you are younger.

I'm sure you'll get what you need from the club explain your situation and I'm sure they'll accomadate you.

 

I think this will be one of the easiest trips to Wembley in terms of getting hold of a ticket.

The most likely outcome is STs will be able to buy so many per ST holder and the rest will go on general sale.
Unlike the FA and League Cup., there's virtually no outside interest in terms of freebies to local FA members or 'big club' plastics who come out of the woodwork.
We'll probably take around 30k which still leaves 15k capacity if you split the 90k allocation between the two respective clubs. @Loyalbantam could have a whole block to himself!

 

If you really think we will take anywhere near 30,000 I would suggest you catch the 680 bus to Heights Lane and get off at Lynfield Mount.

 

I remember a owner of the Bulls bragging to me back in 1996 that his team were taking 15k that year to the Challenge Cup and City (if we ever got to Wembley) would struggle to match that.
That was in the days when our average attendance was around 7k. We took 30k that May
Given we've got 15k season ticket holders I think 30k is not too far from reality.

It's still there isn't it ? My granny was "incarcerated" in there for a bit as they certified her for trying to smother her room mate in the nursing home (despite being 94, 4ft 8 & six stone). Turns out she had an undiagnosed water infection and that had caused the "madness".

 

I don't know if it's still there, never really get up that way. Like you inferred for those of us of a certain age it has particular connotations. Likewise I suppose today if you said you lived in Menston people would think "ooh that's a nice place to live" whereas when I was a lad I'd have been rolling around laughing making jokes about white coats and the like
