A good side? They're not even in league 2 automatic places and you're getting carried away. Our mediocrity is a result of fans like you who are over excited with beating teams we should be beating anyway. Raise your expectations ffs.

In terms of technical ability, MK Dons will be one of the better sides we play against this season. They have two issues though, a leaky defence and a not so clinical striker

I think the stabilising influence of a steady Walker has given the defence a much needed confidence boost.

Gilliead played very well at LWB. That is what we need. 2 wingbacks to provide energy on each side, not just on one. Mcdonald is quality. As someone said earlier, we have not had a quality ball playing midfielder since Cullen. Watt was probably the closest we've come to it but he was far too inconsistent. It helps us adapt a different strategy if hoofball does not work, which it typically doesn't to be fair

Not Odour's biggest fan but he played well tonight. He deserves some praise from that performance

The main thing about todays performance was constantly pressing from the front, and getting onto the attack when we had the chance, rather than playing it safe. That is what won us the game. And that is what we need to do on a regular basis as the home team, we need to take the game to the opposition. If we do that on Saturday, we will win

Well can’t be doing with all this positivity!

    Summat to moan about?

Yes……..it was pissing it down on the way back to the car. The fog on the top of the moors was a real souper!

I messed up on the Prediction League. How dare City win two on the trot!

Without getting too carried away, look at the fixtures on Saturday and where we could be with a win against Sutton.
    10th play 11th
    Notts County away at Wrexham
Mk Dons, Barrow, Gillingham, are away again.
    Harrogate are at Crewe.
Potentially 7 points behind 5th place Barrow before we go to them the week after!!

Well. Walking from Valley Parade tonight was very enjoyable tonight with a disciplined, hard working, team effort. The back 3 worked really well with Virgil Van Platt excelling though Tompkinson was excellent too, sweeping up so much of the swift MK attacks through the centre. The two wings backs were fantastic providing width in attack and very impressive in defence.

Smallwood and the excellent KMc were incisive in Thier pass, tenacious and both put real shifts. Certainly did their bit though a little overrun in the first 30 minutes.

Cook and Kavanagh took Thier goals well and we're a real handful as the game matured.

Lastly, I have been a real critic of Odour whom I felt lacked discipline, didn't get his foot in and the want to drive with the ball at his feet. Tonight though , quite the opposite and was instrumental in all our goals.

Hats off to the lad. I hope he can show that level more often. Credit where credit is due.

Just a good, disciplined, aggressive , cohesive team performance and a good dose of confidence both on and off the field.

Lastly, I bought some trainers t'other week and have yet to see us concede in 4 games that I have attended. Lucky City trainers? Good discipline and patience and stuck to the game plan. Would imagine GA is incredibly happy with the way we stuck at it. They are technically a very good side who will pass the opposition to death and might just make the auto’s but we showed how to play against them. Credit to GA for this one.
He got it spot on. I think MK learned tonight they may need a plan B when it’s not working.

Oduor is a very talented footballer I question his work rate at times but not his talent

I wasn't really sure what happened with his goal, but having seen the replay that's some very neat footwork and a tidy finish.

I thought it was a bit of a fluke on first impression, but nope.

    Good goal, that.

We've had some rough refs over the years and even considering the usual suspects this guy tonight takes first prize, unbelievable .....and yet we won ...

Traffic nightmare tonight (3½ hours to get up, 2 hours to get back home), so the 4-0 win was very welcome.

The last two games have been very enjoyable and the players have put a bit of pride back in the Club.
