Been around for a while now, it's an EFL ruling, everyone has the same U14s rule. Same in the PL, but I think clubs can alter to higher, as Chelsea and there was one more but cant remember who now, they changed their policy this year away from the PL rule, to have no unaccompanied U16s in the ground.

The win on Saturday becomes null and void if we don't follow it up with a win tonight. Really hope we get at them straight from the off. GA surely cannot pick a team full of defenders at home? Get the crowd onside by having Pointon starting and possibly McDonald, with Young and Cook up front receiving ball to FEET. If GA gets it right tonight, then I've a feeling we can kick on and start our season.

Erm, excuse me. I think you'll find that if we don't win tonight, those 3 points on Saturday will not be null and void, they'll be another step towards maintaining our football league status.

I just fancied us not to concede. I was on the edge of a 0-0 or 1 nil win and thought we might get a chance or two or a set piece goal.

Tonight might be a draw though. I think we're better with two up the top and that gives an extra player in the middle. We've hardly been creating loads with a front three so I'd advocate for going back to 3-5-2 but it could be viewed negatively as our wide players/wing backs aren't really attacking minded.

Agree with your thoughts Tallin but I can't see any way he will start with Pointon. I do hope MacDonald has recovered enough from Saturday to feature tonight. Myself I'm a bit unsure about Chapman. I really like him but he has looked a bit slow and, dare I say it, maybe a little overweight?

Can’t see Richards featuring either. He will be indicated as a concussion injury won’t he? I shame because he was coming into form.

GA has said he is probably going to use 17 or 18 players over this busy period because he thinks playing a virtually unchanged side over the Christmas period is one of the reasons we dropped points. I expect to see at least a couple of changes in the starting 11 tonight, with a possible starting place for Ridehalgh.

Might he use the same 11 as in the second half Sat ? It nullified Wrexham somewhat, although I did note they nullified themselves at the same time .

I'd like to think so Kev and would prefer to see Gilliead in at LB/LWB rather than Ridehalgh, but I just have a feeling Liam will start.

Yes I read that. If that is a fact, then that is fitness yet again, in that players can’t remain fit. Why can’t we have an Allenby?

I’ve said before, he’s got an arse to rival Robbie Blake’s. The comparison ends there though.

Ah yes. I forgot that as long as the books balance, it’s ok to win one game, then lose the next ad infinitum. Silly me.

Not for me Pet, that’s why I think he may stay as is. He’s not a wing back.

I should say so. I have been looking at some of the 98-99 vids…..Wow

Mills, Blake, Beags, Jamie Lawrence and Rankin………There’re was some skill on show. ,

Also check out Blake’s 10 best Burnley goals on you tube. What a finisher for those that never saw him.
