That second half was awful, 5 points from 24,no wins at home in the league over 2 MONTHS.I was impressed with our defence today but our attacking play was not great. I have had my problems with Smallwood this season but the booing and clapping him off of our player was a disgrace and doesn't help the player.

Alexander had such a bloated squad when he came in, he couldn't possibly have known all their strengths and weaknesses without seeing them play a few games. He should now have a good idea of his best team and which formation he needs to play going forward. I think they've all had a chance now to stake their claim, with the possible exception of Wilson?
If he returns to playing the likes of Taylor, Smith, Ridehalgh and Oduor then I will start to doubt his ability as our manager and will question his position. I don't think he will tbh.

 

He still has a bloated squad. Only thing is he has some long term injuries making it smaller. He said similar in the Thursday press conference.

 

The full squad might still be bloated but I don't expect to see a lot of them in the match day squad. GA should now know the player's to persevere with.
