BBC Radio Leeds Fans 'Forum' 7th Feb 6-7pm

Why is GA being put on the spot? Surely this should be about years of decline and not the last 8 or so weeks of his tenure. The fact Rupp isn’t participating means it’s a completely useless exercise. He’s the owner and the only person to be held to account. Radio Leeds have apparently made numerous attempts to interview him and he either hasn’t responded or has declined. For Rupp to have publicly addressed the supporters on fewer than half a dozen occasions during his ownership, shows the total contempt he has for the supporters of this club. We’ve seen his true colours in the tweet following the Newport game. Absolutely no acknowledgement of the suffering we’ve endured over the past 6/7 years. What will we learn from the usual “ we have regular contact” comment? Sparks can say what he wants, but he’s not going to say anything controversial that could jeopardise his own position. He won’t comment on whether he’s asked for more cash input and been refused. He probably won’t answer whether his own position is under threat.

Another disgraceful move by the club, by not allowing live fan interaction. Sparks is a baby, and knows full well he’d get exposed for the shirker he is and would get torn apart. Oh and what happened to this:

By adding senior staff he doesn’t necessarily have to attend making it a pointless exercise.

Can it even be called a fans forum if there are not fans in actual attendance?

 

I suppose we have a platform to put some concerns to Sparks about how the club is run and what is the plan going forward.
Hopefully Jamie Raynor does not hold back or waters down the questions. Sparks will have to answer, or it will have long silences.
If he provides answer we all like, then fair enough, if not we can then start to ramp up the pressure on him to go.
He has had one of the larger budgets to play with for several seasons, yet has always provided very below par returns.
Even last season was a failure, playoff's or not , The BSM is a welcome distraction to what has been another abject failure in the league.

So a fans forum with out fans that's novel, preselected questions, and of course those that can't be discussed, shame once again the main man won't be there, maybe a statement read out by our proud custodian.

Don't kid yourself. Sparks will have demanded sight of the questions beforehand and will have soundbite answers ready.

It will also be interesting to see how many fans are willing to do something and how many just like blowing hot air.

 

I believe you were stood directly behind the table I was sitting at, as you spoke about your idea of fans clubbing together to buy Rupp out..

We would have known it was @Fordy117 as the Merc keys would have been on the table and he would have been handing out discounted car wash vouchers whilst wearing his beloved Liverpool shirt.

 

So why simply not hold an open fans meeting if they are gonna answer the questions that need answering ?????

Can someone put me right, but this non fans forum could be recorded Wednesday lunch time edited in the afternoon after Sparks and Alexander either refused to answer questions they were uncomfortable to answer or Raynor considered not worthy of broadcasting.?
