    Its a bold move for an 18 year old.
    Long way from home. Good look to the lad, lets hope he does well and returns a better player, or finds a move to a bigger club.

    Definitely.
    I think it shows a certain maturity for that age.
    Not scared to go to a club 300/350 miles away from home.
    Can’t just pop home to mum if he has a poor game.

    Different levels but Sancho (I know) and Bellingham going abroad at a very young age shows they are not scared of putting themselves out of their comfort zone.

    A bit of exposure to the “rough and tumble” of men’s football might just do him a world of good too. (Thinking about McBurnie being sent out by Swansea to help his development).

    Have family from the Highlands/Moray area. Going up in mid May, will briefly call in at Elgin, but the season will have ended.
    A good 400 mile drive.
    Elgin is a very pleasant town, Findhorn and the coast is a really nice place.

    He is 18 not 16 and should be on the bench and getting games here as we have now little to play for. If looked after properly is easily as good as any in our midfield. He is a really good prospect

    Trevor I dont disagree but our manager has an issue playing Pointon at. this moment in time... let him have good season up there and get him back were he is needed...
