I think we tried everything we could to lose that game.

 

McDonald had another good, composed game with great passes to actual City players. Hope Smallwood never plays for us again. Offers nothing to the team at all.

well that was much better.
we played some decent stuff , but finishing still an issue.
cook really poor tonight.
halliday solid as usual platt ,young ,chapman richards and gillead all had good games.
mcd, kelly , tomkinson steady away.
doyle one save to make and made it.
the less said about odour the better,
if we can get walker and wright fit, we actually have a reasonable team, and something to build on
the £50,000 prize money for wining tonight pretty handy as well.

 

It’s a very lucrative competition for City and if the fans want to boycott that’s their choice, but there’s been some good performances from City this season. Still a chance of taking my 9 year old Grandson to Wembley.

 

If we get there I’ll be taking my 4 year old, He’s seen 4 games so far, 2 wins & 2 draws so I like to think he’s a lucky talisman!

 

Yep im in same boat. Want us to progress so kids can experience Wembley. Chances of us getting there in playoffs is slim and its near on impossible for us to reach a major cup final again

 

We certainly seem to play more 'football' with McDonald in the team.
