I sometimes wonder if those ‘relationships’ are the downfall of our seeming limited ability to have much success in the loan market? Perhaps it’s the experience people such as Dury and Sellars have in our club, seeing the limited first team opportunities youth players get, or our ability to effectively use young loan players, that we are not as attractive as we all hope?

Swindon fans not as complimentary about Young as they were when he was scoring for fun. I hope he comes back with a point to prove and not Billy big balls...

They are in full on panic mode. Squad is at it's bare bones and their best 2 players of the season have both been recalled and they cant find two pennies to put together to bid for either again. Also calls for Flynn to go but cant imagine they'd be that stupid looking at the squad he has to work with, it would be a tall task for anyone.

And now you know why Reading are so heavily in debt.

I repeat , he’s being played whilst injured. I saw two or three of his recent games ( City postponement and different playing times) , including the poor and unpunished foul that injured him and since he’s been anonymous, any wonders?

Without Kemp…….hes not going to prosper unless he plays alongside Cook with Walker fit.

Well he might if we bring in another midfielder. As far as Young is concerned all bets are off tbh. If he is injured when he has his fitness test we will know. Let’s see how he goes.

Prediction for who could be on the chopping block...

    Stubbs - Ridehalgh - McDonald - Osadebe - Chapman - Derbyshire

All out of contract in July and all out of favour when a fully fit squad. I wouldnt mind Chapman staying but if he is on a decent whack which I reckon he will be then time to go.

Oliver can go for me as well. Not convinced he leaves as 18 months left and doubt any takers.

If Odusina comes back, may as well use him as a 5th choice CB to replace Stubbs.
Odour is trash as a CM/AM, stick him at LWB to cover Richards. Ridehlagh is shite.
McDonald - needs replacing to offer Gilli and Smallwood decent competition.
    Osadebe - garbage.
Chapman - face doesnt fit. 3 or 4 who can play the AM role.
    Derbyshire - replaced by Young.

Teddies been thrown out of the pram.

They have scored 47 goals in the league this season. Kemp and Young had 30 of those. They are in big trouble and should be grateful that there are some proper Shizzle teams down the bottom this year otherwise they would be in serious trouble.

I think the strategy was for a smaller squad then once the season started and we decided to change back to the 4231 I think we panicked as we knew we only had Odour as the only fit winger plus Pointon which is why we went out and got Wilson, Afoka and Tulloch late in the window

That went well then! Panic buying from an experienced manager like MH is just not acceptable writing clearly on the wall then.

That’s probably why Sparks had had enough. It couldn’t continue.

I think the panic was from above Hughes. Sure we can never prove it but I bet any money the late loanees and Wilson were Gent and Sparks.

Club are so reactionary and fearful of any flack I think it was ohhh quick pivot!!!

Always found the Oduor transfer a bizarre one, used predominantly at Barnsley as a left wing back, then he came here and said he wanted to play an attacking role. So I can't get my head around that we signed what we thought was a left wing back and then he didn't want to play there. Hence why Richards was signed late on.

I think there is a player there in Odour??!! Confidence and a few games let see if we can afford to play him.. ...if he does not contribute much? I thought he was okay yesterday and against Stockieporrrrrtey. I would concentrate on the play offs now and make ourselves really hard to beat. Get a striker in and lets see..

This is so frustrating - it's the 2nd January and no credible rumours. Oh wait - this is BCFC so 29 days too early with that request!

Loan Chapman to Swindon, he'll not only play every game, but score double figures
