Yep. That's how little effort it takes to make you look daft.

    Happy new year

One cross ? Personally thought he made zero difference . The attempted flick straight into touch was a tad daft .

He was only on the pitch for 15 mins and set up the best chance of the second half. Plus if that plonker of a ref had not blown for full time when Pointon had the ball at his feet attacking just inside the box we may have had an equaliser.

    What was tough about it?

    Stockport?

    Excuse after excuse.,Dream after dream!

We’re not good enough. Understand it and understand it fast. When you do then you won’t be thinking we should be this team or that.

It’s close about thinking about next season already.

Whilst I can understand the irritation from the performance against Crewe, I don't exactly think its time to pick up sticks and pack it all in either. Only 5 points from the playoffs and if we have a good window, they are very much on. Your business friend, but with 21 games left, again think its a bit premature to focus on next season already.

We were 9 points off the playoffs when Alexander started and it's taken a good unbeaten run and about 10 games to half that gap. This is the problem with playing catch up. You can't settle for points (like Stockport) or have poor starts (like Morecambe). A team needs to be 110% on it and continuously win 7-10 games in a row to bridge the gap because thete are 6-8 teams competing for 7th spot and when the table is so tight there will always be someone winning. Unfortunately, the last two games have shown Alexander's unwillingness to change things around and the staring team have slowly ground themselves to a halt.

I think GA has been reluctant to change a winning team, relying on them to deliver the goods. The Christmas schedule is punishing and regardless of how hard they train at some point their bodies want a rest it is important. There is also the quality of our squad which to be fair doesn’t encourage change.

This January is really important if we are to reach our goal this season. Unfortunately it will require cash and plenty of it. Let’s see where we are the end of January. Next match is Crawley and Smallwood is suspended so change is inevitable. In any event we need a very good midfielder who can replace Walker. Pointon played well yesterday when he came on so he may get a start next Saturday.

I am not going to criticise the players for yesterday they ran themselves into the ground.

A few home games coming up now as we’ve played 3 fewer home games than away. So if we could sort out some decent home form maybe we can make up some lost ground.

I watched the full 90 , yes one cross, I don’t count “ nearly” crosses. I get your drift but let’s not exaggerate the effectiveness in what was a poor all round 90 mins.

The result hurts but we were very unlucky in that game. We will play worse and win. Hopefully we can get back to winning ways starting Saturday

It will be tough. Crawley is a must win otherwise if they win they go five points above us and it just becomes like running in sand - lots of effort but not moving forwards.

Gillingham play Accrington at the weekend so, again, we could end up 5 or 7 points behind one of them if we don't win. Unfortunately, the last three winless games have really hurt us.

Not sure if you been reading this forum before joining but if you haven't you'll soon get used to our old mucker @Fordy117@Fordy117 and the way he speaks to fellow posters, he has answers for every event but when challenged his usual reply is Rupp is sh1te and needs to sell the club, Sparks is sh1te for a CEO, Alexander will soon be sh1te, our training facilities are sh1te, as is our ground and we don't own either of the last two.

What he fails to do before calling out comments is to look in the mirror. He’s quiet when we are winning yet appears out of nowhere when it’s a defeat. Bit like his junior apprentice RCBantam

Goading or Wumming isn’t permitted apparently. ;)

We win Saturday are we still gonna be thinking about next season ?????

Btw i know we aint good but that goes for about 21 other clubs at this level and the top 3 aint world bearer judging that all 3 have failed to beat us on 4 occasions.

We have a chance a slim one but we have a chance so i aint giving up on it yet.

Still no doubt you will want a loss to prove your bitter points yet again bit sad really

You say Alexander is unwilling to change things around what would you have done differently yesterday, Alexander has said he will not change a winning team apart from injuries.I didn't see a lot wrong with the timing of introducing our on subs, Derbyshire was on for 30 minutes and the double substitution was with 15 minutes plus injury time. It was a poor performance compared to what we've seen during our good little run the only difference being previous games we put our chances away.

Had he changed a winning team and the results had gone the same then it would have been an uproar ............honestly the way wr have played our last 3 games ypu would have thought we had been battered in all 3 :(

Morecambe we could have sneaked it at the end with a bit of luck.
Stockport up against the leaders on a dodgy pitch playing in shocking weather.
Crewe was one of them games when they had one shot onbtarget and did nothing else.

How many of us on here would have taking this posistion after Notts County away ????

Let the doom mongers carry on they sit there type on there keyboards and do nothing if they feel so badly about how its run they do something about it .............but they dont and i bet you any money that if they had the chance to lead a protest at our next home game they would shit out.

Am i happy with the board the recruitment etc am i fook but nothings gonna change at the moment ,so is it so hard to be a bit positive and actually see with a bit of luck we may end up with a positive outcome to the season
