If we send Pointon to national league can we recall him if needed or is that only work experience loans? I’d send either him or Wilson on loan (new contract for Pointon too)
Also do we have a year option on Chapman-I think he’s one of our most technical players so would like to see more from him

 

I wish people wouldn't have this assumption that Young is a bad apple. He's certainly not shown that at Swindon. Do you really think he's going to come back to City and absolutely prove that Mark Hughes was right sending him out on loan?
Surely he'll want to come back and continue his form under a more stable, happier club, than when he left it.

 

On Saturday's MOTM display I would certainly keep Tomkinson.

 

Watched the extended highlights last night, was that Tomlinson who raced across to their left and put in a slide tackle of real beauty to break their move down?

 

East clearly isnt good enough and his entire career is proof of that. NL is his level and thats where he should remain.

GA may want to take a look at him but he would be way down the pecking under unless 2 or 3 leave. We need to get rid of players, not increase the squad size with average joes.

PS - Tomkinson surely stays.

Apparently we (Carlisle) were after him in the summer, but could neither match Harrogate's asking fee or his wages, suddenly now we can due to our lovely American friends. However I'm led to believe we paid no where near the £500,000 asking fee, and his wage demands had dropped significantly. This may of course be due to him being a Geordie Boy and him owning a small business over in the North East, which is closer to his home.
Not sure about 'Cash Point' as yet, although Brunton Park is receiving a momentous face lift at the moment and we are being linked with allsorts of interesting names.
January for us is going to be a very interesting month!!!!

I'm not sure we need another right wing back. Halliday, while being Mr Consistent seems to be pretty robust and should we be unfortunate I think Gillead could play that role well enough which also leaves a spot in central midfield for Pattison.

We also still have Oyegoke who sounds like he'll be available in a couple of months for extra cover.
