He won’t be recalled on the first it will be after the holiday fixtures

 

Got to be honest, we had a discussion on our forum about if we could only keep one of Young or Kemp, the vast majority went for Kemp. That’s based purely on the actual playing side of things, not any monetary value. That, and probably, we have a decent chance of keeping Kemp!

 

It begs the question Jordan, who will be sat around the negotiating table? Sparks? Rupp?

I have little faith we’ll come out best in the negotiations, either.

 

Interesting that the majority didn't vote for the top scorer in the EFL over Kemp.

I personally thought it was nailed on the Young would be recalled.

But the man himself has raised some doubts...

I mean..... he isn't going to say anything else is he to the local paper? I'm 99.9% sure there will be headline either on the 1st or 2nd of Jan that Young has been recalled. I'm far less confident of seeing him in a City shirt once again.

 

Nothing more than a stock PR answer that I'd expect any player to say.

 

Kemp did very little before teaming up with Young which is why he was sent out on loan. Young will bring in a million to some club in the future but doubt it will be us as we will sell him cheap before he is sold again for good money

 

Thing is, he has no say in the matter.

We will recall to play for us, or recall to sell to another club who make us an offer we can't refuse.

 

Im pretty confident. Young's issue was with Mark Hughes and he has gone now.

GA has won the golden ticket getting the leagues top goal scorer for free. He will 101% want this to happen/work out.

 

I think we should bring him back asap and play him. But given the muddled thinking we sometimes see, we’ll probably play him once, realise we’ve bollocksed it up and sell him to Swindon dirt cheap because we can’t afford to wait until summer to sell him.

 

Martin talking rubbish about the fans fuming about Young being allowed to go out on loan. I admire what the lad has done off.the back of it though.

 

It does seem though if a valuation is met he would be more than happy to stay at Swindon than come back to Bradford. Which I can understand as he's benefitting from playing a certain way with a certain squad. Isn't even guaranteed to get a start at Bradford.

As I said before, Jake happens to be friends with another lad loaned out by.... Graham Alexander.

Kemp is hardly going to have been gushing over the guy that let him leave on loan and got sacked a few games later.

I imagine Young has a very low opinion of our new manager, but even if he doesn't, he's on his career-best form by some distance. He's never done this before, and might never hit this kind of form ever again. That's the harsh reality of football.

That said, it's up to Swindon Town to find the money to buy him if they want him.

This isn't a bloody pity party for the broke buggers. Pay up or lose him, simple as that.

 

We don’t know that Kemp didn’t leave amicably though do we? Just pure speculating.

how do we know Kemp and Young are top pals? i don’t do social media, so you may be right if its evident from there, but just because players are teammates doesn’t mean they are pally off the pitch! sheringham and cole despised each other at United yet played in one of the most successful United teams of all time!

just trying to make the point that Young might just start from a blank canvas with GA and form his own opinion.

So Kemp wanted away from Mk , before kicking a ball for Alexander, not the manager forcing him out.
Pay off Mcdonald , get this lad in, send back the loanee's and re call East. Pretty decent midfield there.
