What would you class as improved?

Why fans should wait until the end of the season is madness.

We can’t keep blaming the manager.

I think the damage is done we need a massive upturn, Sparkes is culpable for signing the cheques on some of the signings this show ls he’s not a clue about football oh and length of contracts. He’s a CEO taking the club on a downward spiral, in most industries the guy would be on a capability performance plan he also looks rough the bloody state of him in GAs presser, guys always got a cold ….

The next home game,We need a win for starters and I have a feeling if this terrible form continues, the voices of disapproval will get louder and that may for once lead to a protest outside the ground entrance. The next few league games are massive for the league table / Form and what happens next.

The guy lurches from one calamity to another. Any decent fellow would have fallen on his sword by now. But with his track record he would most likely miss.

Our league position doesn't lie but there again do we know for sure if Rupp actually knows what a football league table actually looks like, after all it's not anything to do with been in pole position and that's something we are so far away from.
I personally don't blame the office monkey for our present predicament this one's down to our German organ grinder.

I'll tell you what then, pick up your phone and say Ryan the fans want rid of you when are you leaving.

At the end of the game today in a certain pub near the ground I heard a bunch of 5 or 6 lads discussing attacking Sparks away from the club. I'm sure someone in the media has said Sparks has been getting death threats.

You're only on this site to gauge supporters and report back so I suggest you actually do that before things get nasty.

Threatening violence against Sparks is just plain stupid.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. There's no place for that kind of talk at any club. I'm sure we have our fair share of idiots but that's uncalled for under any circumstances.

As has been mentioned on here previously, Sparks is running the club exactly to Rupp's wishes insofar that the club exists and isn't losing any money. Rupp couldn't care less how successful or not we are on the grass, which is why Sparks is still in a job.

If Rupp prioritised sporting success over sustainability, Sparks would be out the door. As it is, there's no one to hold him accountable for his continued failure and mismanagement of football operations. He's effectively got a free reign, so long as he balances the books.

Sparks with his position has to accept all the blame that's thrown at him for sure. Yes he has a lot of difficult answers for sure from all angles, but I've watched football a lot over my years and mainly in lower leagues with our lot, and in all honesty despite Sparks many mistakes he's made I think the more criminal mistakes by far that way over shadow his came from MH, he had an ok/functional squad for L2, wasn't great by any means but ticked a lot of the simple boxes required to succeed in L2, but then instead of spending most of his available funds on a few top high end players in the areas we lacked he ripped everything up and signed large numbers of dross instead!!! I mean what the actual f4k was he thinking???

We literally needed 3/4 really good players and we made a mess of it.

Now that is not on. He is human being with feelings and also a family. If I hear of any going to attack him I will report it to the Police. He may well ge out of his depth, but that is not down to him that is up to Rupp.

He's been in the role 3 years now and he'll be on a fair whack, can only assume lifestyle creep means he's got a nice car and house that needs paying for, resigning would be suicide for him, probably couldn't believe his luck getting a CEO role handed to him like that.

Problem is he's Rupp's only contact in the game apart from Rhodes...Gent will probably be the next one to be thrown under the bus (justified tbh) and then Alexander.

Our only hope is it becomes impossible for him to justify to Rupp what's happening (doubtful), or he realises he could shift to a high paying marketing role in another industry which would be peaceful in comparison.

If he goes then Rhodes picks another CEO for Rupp? He chose Sparks...

Are.you being serious regarding what you have written in that post? I've no reason to doubt you but if it was meant seriously them I want nothing to do with this club. If it's getting to the point where folks are talking like that I'd rather walk away.

If true that's dispicable, no other word for it.
Listen, Sparks isn't the problem, he's doing everything in his remit to make the club successful but he doesn't pick the team or choose which players to sign. He is guided by so called "football men" in recruitment and team management and the plethora of backroom staff to support that. I would agree that he needs more of a football head in the upper echelons of the club to help him or take the pressure off in that regard.
But to hold him personally responsible for our current woes and either verbally or threatening behaviour towards him is totally out of order. Disgusting :pensive:

How anyone can still defend Rupp and Sparks is baffling, the damage they have done to the club is clear. "We don't accept mediocrity" and yet we'd be lucky to manage mediocrity now. Every footballing decision has been fecked up, and that lies purely with the two Muppets dragging us into oblivion

I don't know what field you work in but if you went for a job and had the necessary qualifications and a decent C.V, the only criteria you would be judged on other than that would be your conviction you could do the job and convincing the interviewer of such. If you failed to deliver or were incompetent he would probably sack you as Sparks has done, who's at fault, you for not doing as you promised or the employer for employing you??
