Anyone got any tips on where is decent/easy place to park near the Notts Co ground?

I had a look on street view, like I do most grounds I go to, and there seems to be quite a bit of street parking available on the surrounding industrial estates. I think their last 2 Saturday home games (against Mansfield and Wrexham) yielded 16+k fans so street parking might be a bit scarce unless I get there in plenty of time

 

Last time we went to Nottingham, we paid someone to park on their drive. Worth exploring, though it was Forest not County so could be a different scenario.

 

Only been once for the start of the 2013 League Cup run when Hanson hit a beauty into the top corner. I remember my pal who drove had looked beforehand and the street parking had a reputation of youths loitering around and asking for a fiver or something happened to your car. Was 10 years back so that might be done and dusted these days.

We found a little industrial estate just behind the away end, £3 or £4 I think from memory (or about £629.50 with todays inflation) and it was a doddle. Straight in and out without much queueing on the roads but I'd imagine the gates on Saturday even with it being an early KO and on TV will be much bigger than the cup game.

 

Thanks, for me personally it is 78 miles, one of the benefits living in South Bradford very close to the chain bar roundabout

Despite our poor form and most of our fan base predicting we will get hammered at County on Saturday, we really have nothing to fear

10 points the difference, and they have only lost 2 fewer games than us. Granted they have scored nearly twice the amount of goals we have (them 33-us 18) but they have conceded 6 more than us, believe it or not

We'll most certainly be the underdogs, so anything is a bonus

 

One of those games where if we do get something then it's a bonus. We are badly out of form and GA is just getting used to the squad against one of the best teams in the division.

 

Think a lot depends on Cook, if he can get himself really up for the battle then that can be the key to getting something here.....

Isn't that what we are supposed to be Mr Tart, one of the best teams in the division We keep getting told we are but then we watch them live every week and see the real deal of poor or average performances who are not mentally up for the job of a promotion push.

 

Feel sorry for the players, had a system that to an extent worked last season then come back for pre season and the gaffer tells them 'right lads, you know that 4 at the back that worked.last season? Forget that, we're going with 3.'

 

Looking like we might be going against a team without a manager on Saturday. Luke Williams dropped as low as 1/8 earlier on BetVictor and the market was suspended. Oxford fans seem confident that he is going to be announced as their new manager later this week.

Any update on injuries? Oyegoke? Ridehalgh? Oyegoke's injury looked more serious - a pity as I thought he provided a bit more energy on the left after Ridehalgh went off. Will we ever see Pattison again? Will it be a makeshift LB or will there be a formation switch?
